Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.

Dominos Anyone?
We had a great start to the day practicing our memory and matching skills on Daisy Lane with a 'spot' of dominos!
Happy Birthday 'Jane'
This week we celebrated Jane's birthday with a scrumptious afternoon tea.
Pancake Day at Collingtree Park
Happy Pancake Day everyone! Today residents enjoyed pancakes as well as talking about Shrove Tuesday and it's significance.
Busy Board
Our Home Manager; Tom has been busy creating this DIY themed busy board for residents on our Daisy Lane community (with a little help from Mr. Pickles of course!).
Quiz Day
Our residents enjoyed a competitive quiz this afternoon, which also gave them a chance to reflect on their past and share life stories with each other.
Valentines' Arts & Crafts
Celebrating Valentine's Day with card crafts on our Daisy Lane community. Look at those lovely cards, and smiley faces... Love is all around us today!
