Activities at Queens Court Care Home
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

We are delighted to introduce Emilia as our Activities Lead. Emilia has been part of Queens Court for some time and is excellent in ensuring our residents have a full and interesting life introducing many new hobbies, activities and experiences!

We Scream for Ice Cream!
You're never too old for ice cream, especially when it's from the ice cream van! Residents recently enjoyed a visit from the local ice cream van to help them cool off. We're looking forward to seeing him again every Saturday during the summer.
Ella's 3rd Birthday
On Friday 22nd July, Queen's Court Care Home celebrated the 3rd birthday of a resident's granddaughter
Ella, her friends, residents and staff all participated in a variety of games, including, pass the parcel and musical chairs.
It was a fantastic afternoon with delicious food that was prepared by our outstanding catering department.
20 Years of Service at Queen Court
Congratulations to Radha Squires who is celebrating 20 years at Queens Court. Radha used to be an administrator, but is now a student Nurse. We wish her every success.
