Barchester Care Awards

Our annual Barchester Care Awards celebrate excellence in the quality of care we provide individuals and teams that make a difference to the lives of residents, patients and the families we support.

In 2025, we received over 5250 nominations for the 18 different categories.

This year there are 19 categories that celebrate excellence recognising the variety of roles across the company, ranging from ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and ‘Registered Nurse of the Year’, to ‘Carer of the Year’ and ‘Resident Ambassador of the Year’.

15 categories are open to nominations from all - colleagues, residents, patients, families, friends, volunteers and visitors. The remaining 4 categories are nominated by Managing Directors and Barchester’s Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees.
