Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Zoe Grindley
Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.
I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.
Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.
My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs
I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
National Senior Fitness Day
Southgate Beaumont celebrated National Senior Fitness day with a very special exercises lead by our Physiotherapist, Jignesh, in our beautiful garden, followed by refreshments.
Nurses' Day - Southgate
Southgate is hosted a party to celebrate International Nurses’ Day and support our nurses and care staff who make a real difference to the lives of those in their care.
Nurses’ Day is a chance to recognise and reward the important work and dedication of nurses everywhere, who often go above and beyond the call of duty..
Easter Celebrations
Southgate Beaumont would like to thank Morrison’s for donating Easter eggs and Walkers Primary School for their lovely Easter cards, made specially for our residents.
Happy Birthday!
Here at Southgate Beaumont we celebrated Eileen`s 100th birthday. It is a great success to rich that age. She`s been presented by our Manager Beatrice Godfrey with a card from the Queen and a lot of gifts. Eileen, all residents and staff enjoyed the party. There were a plenty of food, music and dances.
Happy Mother's Day
Here at Southgate Beaumont we celebrated Mother's Day with a wine, cheese and music. All staff came to dance and cheer our residents up.
Over 50's Forum and Councillor
Southgate Beaumont hosted 'Over 50`s Forum and Councillor Mary Maguire' talk about Enfield Council Budget 20/21. Over 50 people from the community showed interest and there was a great discussion after the talk.
