Jane Lee

General Manager

Hi, my name is Jane, and I am the General Manager here at Braeburn Lodge. Welcome to our website!

I have been working in different roles since the home opened in 2014 and, more recently, as the Deputy Manager and then as Acting General Manager. I am looking forward to supporting the team to deliver the very best care and life enrichment to all our residents.

We have built a very strong community engagement team at the home and have fantastic local support, which has enabled the home to establish robust community connections.

Braeburn Lodge is a beautiful home with a kind and friendly staff team. We are looking forward to welcoming new residents and visitors to the home so they can experience a warm and friendly welcome.

I am a registered nurse and I also have an ENB teaching qualification. I have always worked in the health and social care since qualifying as a nurse. I have held varied positions during my career, includingSenior Nurse, Registered Manager and, most recently, Clinical Lead. I have worked for Barchester since 2018.

Debbie started as a Senior Carer and has progressed to Team Leader for her fantastic team spirit and commitment to the residents.

Francesca Marini

Home Administrator

My name is Francesca and I am the Home Administrator at Braeburn Lodge. I have been working in the care sector since I was sixteen years old. I started my journey from Domiciliary Care before moving onto Nursing homes.

I love traveling and have visited several places over the years. I still have a bucket list of places I would like to visit, especially Cape Verde.

Dee Tugluer

Activities Coordinator

My name is Dee Tugluer and I am the Activities Coordinator for Braeburn Lodge. I have been working in the care sector for almost a year and half. Prior to my job in the home I worked in the design sector and marketing for over twenty years. I also took a short break from my career to take care of my children and did so some volunteer work for my local community, schools and charities.

I really enjoy working for Braeburn as I have built a good relationship with all our residents. I love to make everyone feel happy and content, and get excited to plan and implement a beneficial Life Enrichment programme for our home.

I have been part of the Marriott House team since April 2022 and it’s a pleasure to cook for our wonderful residents and team. Inspired by my Mum’s homemade cooking, I started my career as a Chef at the age of 18. I enjoy the challenges of this career and I ensure a person-centred approach to all of our residents, taking care to prepare home-comfort food to their individual needs and preferences.

I joined Braeburn Lodge in late 2021, I have over 20 years of maintenance experience in the care sector and hospitality. I have great pride in providing an excellent service for all the residents with their maintenance requirements. I find my role within the company very rewarding!

My name is Phil and I have been Head of Maintenance since 2021 here at Braeburn Lodge. I take great pride and pleasure in helping our residents

Feel comfortable in their home. I ensure that all my Health and Safety aspects of the home are kept up to Barchester’s High Standards, and that all maintenance requests are acted on promptly.

I always take time to talk and listen to our residents, to make sure they have everything they need to be happy within the home and gardens. I thoroughly enjoy working for Braeburn Lodge and Barchester as I regard them as my extended family.

Emma Pearson

Care Practitioner

My name is Emma and I am have been a Care Practitioner for two years at Braeburn Lodge. I really enjoy working in care as I love to fulfil the needs

And wishes of my residents on a daily basis. It makes me feel so happy to see them all content. I also love the relationship I have with my colleagues as We work really well as a team, and try to support each no matter what the challenge is.

I also love animals very much and have two cats which I adore. I have often brought my Cat Fudge into the home as a special treat

My name is Philippa and I am a Senior Health Care Assistant here at Braeburn Lodge. I chose to work in Care after a very different career

because I wanted to make a tangible difference to people’s lives.

Care Assistant

My name is Richard and I am a Health Care Assistant at Braeburn Lodge. I enjoy working in the home as I am a very caring person, and I  like to be able to show that when doing my job.

I am a caring family man and have just welcomed my beautiful 3rd child. When I have free time I love to play computer games and I am pretty good at it too.

Yasmine Dawson

Activities Coordinator

I have worked at Braeburn Lodge since 2015. I started working as a carer and the activities side of the role really appealed to me. We organise a variety of activities to suit everybody’s preferences and abilities. I enjoy working at Braeburn and making a difference to the residents’ lives.

Simon Waugh

2nd Chef

My name is Simon and I am the 2nd Chef here at Braeburn Lodge. I started off as a chef at the young age of seventeen and worked in restaurants for almost twenty years. I chose to change the direction of my career after taking a little break. I definitely find it a little more challenging and exciting working for the care sector.

Outside of work I am a big football fan, and like to attend music festivals and live concerts. I also like to do a little bit of DJing in my spare time.
