Hi, my name is Raj Boodhoo and I am the General Manager here at Chalfont Lodge. Welcome to our website!

I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years. I graduated at Kings College London. I have worked in a variety of health & Social Care settings throughout my career, including NHS &Community, private hospitals, rehabilitation, long term care, project manager, education and dementia care. I am committed to delivering the very highest standard of care to residents within the home, offering them an opportunity to enjoy life. I enjoy leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills, knowledge & experience for the wellbeing of those we support.

Hello! I am Ovi and I proud to say I am the Clinical Deputy Manager of Chalfont Lodge Care Home. I have progressed from Clinical Lead to most recent role of Deputy Manager and I am extremely proud to work for Chalfont Lodge. I have been working in the care sector for 20 years and have always had a passion for wanting to help people.

I have a background in Dementia care and have been honoured to have been able to help those living with Dementia throughout their Journey.

I joined Barchester in 2017 as administrator at another nursing home in High Wycombe and recently transferred to Chalfont Lodge.  Having raised a family, my career started in the customer service/financial sector, working for various organisations. Having always been a people person, it has been so rewarding getting to know all our lovely residents and families. I love being part of a team that is passionate about providing high quality care and exceptional service.

Hello, I’m Alex the Activities Lead at Chalfont Lodge, working with me is Louise Doyle. I've worked at Chalfont Lodge for 8 years now. I originally started off as a volunteer and fell in love with the residents, families and staff. Since then, I've been an Activity assist, Activity Coordinator and now the head of the department! Activities are my passion and I love creating an environment where all of the residents can thrive and do what they love!

Zbigniew Kuczynski 'Zibi'

Hi, I am Zibi and I have been working at Chalfont Lodge since 2014 when I joined as the 2nd chef, during the last 7 years I have got to know our residents well, all the special meals they enjoy and helped to celebrate their special occasions like birthdays and special family days.

I have worked in a variety of places, hotels locally and in VIP private hospitality with the well known chef Michel Roux 

I'm very proud to have been promoted Head Chef here at Chalfont Lodge and look forward to delivering even more fantastic food with my team for the people living and visiting the home.

Mansukh Chander Msc, Bsc, MCSP, ACPIN

Physiotherapist

Mansukh Chander is a professionally qualified and specialised physiotherapist with a master’s degree in neurological conditions. With her extensive experience in the assessment and management of patients with complex neurological need, Mansukh also provides the evidence based rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatment to orthopaedic conditions together with multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, and post-operative care. She uses her knowledge to support other healthcare professional for wheelchair assessments and orthotics.

Mansukh works closely with her clients and their families, as well as other healthcare professional to provide a holistic treatment in order to achieve the maximum functional results and helps client to achieve their goals.

Isabel Swinhoe-Standen

Music Therapist

Hi, my name is Isabel but go by Izzy. I qualified as a Music Therapist in 2015 from Anglia Ruskin University and lived and worked for some years in Cambridge. I completed my second master's in Mental Health Science in 2020 whilst living in France before moving to Bucks to work across three NHS hospitals specialising in dementia and rehabilitation. I am passionate about the power of music and music therapy for older people and those living with dementia, and about strengthening connections between research and practice. As well as working for Barchester I run community choirs and teach the piano locally and in my spare time, I enjoy yoga and spending time outdoors.
