Meet the Hollyfields Care Home Team

From nurses and carers to chefs and housekeepers, staff in our home are here to deliver high quality care and services to those we support. Check below to meet some of the friendly faces you are likely to see when visiting our home:

Alison Moseley-Shaw

General Manager

Welcome to Hollyfields Nursing Home. My name is Alison and I am the General Manager here. Now, let me share a bit about myself.

My journey in Healthcare began in 2004 then I graduated with a BSC (Hons) qualification.  I started my career on a NHS ward, where I gained invaluable experience and honed my skills in patient care.  Over time, I transitioned my skills into medical education, expanding my knowledge and expertise.

In 2016, I decided to explore new opportunities in private healthcare and accepted a role as Deputy Ward Manager.  This experience allowed me to further develop my leadership abilities while continuing to prioritise the well-being of patients.

In 2022, I made the transition into a nursing home, taking on the role of Deputy Manager. Here, my passion for the well-being of both residents and staff truly flourished.  It was a privilege to contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for all.

In 2023, I was honoured to be promoted to General Manager, a role that allows me to lead with compassion and dedication.  My commitment to the well-being of residents and staff remains the forefront of everything I do, driving me to continually strive for excellence in care provision.

Outside of work, I'm a proud mum to four wonderful grown up children and step-mum to two younger children.  Family means everything to me and I cherish the time we spend together.   Being a Nanna to two wonderful grandsons brings me immense joy, and I treasure every moment with them.

In my free time, I love nothing more than going on holidays with my husband.  Whether it’s exploring new destinations or returning to our favourite spots, I find immense happiness in discovering new cultures, cuisines and experience.  Travelling allows me to unwind, recharge, and create lifelong memories.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to welcoming you to the Hollyfields community.

Rebecca Chelin

Clinical deputy Manager

Hi, I'm Rebecca, and I am the Clinical Deputy Manager here at Hollyfields.

Originally from South Africa, I embarked on my nursing journey in 2012, specialising in oncology.  With a passion for providing compassionate care, I transitioned to the UK in 2019, eager to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Since joining the Hollyfields team in 2023, I've had the privilege of serving as a dedicated nurse, and I'm honoured to have been promoted to the role of Deputy Manager in 2024.  Outside of work, I find joy in being a mother to two wonderful boys, who continually inspire me to strive for excellence.  In my leisure time, I indulge in my love for travel and immerse myself in the captivating world of literature.
