Activities at Orchard House Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Happy Easter

We wish everyone a Happy Easter! We've had a truly bustling Easter period!

Children came over, we made Easter bonnets, painted Easter eggs, and ate lots of hot cross buns... and of course, lots of chocolate!

Today, the Easter visited us and surprised the residents of Orchard House Care Home with another batch of Easter chocolate eggs.

Visiting Hunnyhill Primary School

It was a truly special day at Hunnyhill Primary School!

We had the privilege of witnessing the dedication and passion of the teachers as they nurtured our young ones.

It was heartwarming to see Ottilie ROBINSON-SHAW (GBR), a kayak world champion, inspiring the next generation during our PE session.

The children amazed us with their musical talents on the flute and their expressive sign language singing.

And to top it off, they treated us to a delightful lunch of fish and chips.

A big thank you to the school for such a warm welcome!

Our residents had a fantastic time.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day at our care home was nothing short of magical. Our residents and their children came together to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Amidst the delightful aroma of homemade cakes, we were treated to the angelic voices of the Double Take siblings, adding an extra layer of joy and warmth to the occasion. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments that we will forever hold dear in our hearts.
