I visited Barchester Bushey with my friend, who is looking for a respite stay for her mother while she’s on holiday. We were both really impressed! The home is very clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff were kind and professional, and the environment felt safe and comfortable. A great option for respite care.

I attended the Bushey Festival and had a wonderful experience visiting Barchester Bushey. The cake made by their in-house chef was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly attentive—everyone, from the nurses and care assistants to even the head of the department, was actively helping and engaging with guests.

The home itself is spotless and very well maintained. It’s clear that they take great pride in both the quality of care and the environment. It was such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

They also host lovely afternoon teas and regular events I can’t wait to join in more of them. That’s one of the reasons I’ve chosen to be part of this community. Looking forward to what’s ahead!

I am truly grateful for the wonderful team at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont. From the moment my Dad became a resident, he has been surrounded by kindness, respect, and genuine care.

Barchester Bushey house care home is a very special care home for the residents as they value their clients and prioritise care with kindness in every care interventions.
All care provided is high quality and effective and staff here promote health and well being of all residents especially through engagement in different activities throughout the day. I have been very lucky to run physio groups with people here who are extremely well engaged and motivated to do these groups.

Our U3A group on World Religions have been meeting at Bushey Beaumont for sometime. We are so grateful for the wonderful facility, the tea and biscuits and the friendly helpful staff. Thank you so much to Maryjane and staff.

I recently visited Bushey House Beaumont for Afternoon Tea with my grandparents and had a lovely time. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the setting was peaceful and homely. It was a thoughtful and enjoyable experience for both residents and guests.

"Having visited the care home prior, expectations were at a high level & the stay almost completely proved to meet these high expectations. From the arrival at the home to the departure, all staff members were extremely courteous, diligent in what they needed to do & showed a friendly face & dignity at all times. The room was adequate for the needs of the stay. The food was very good, good choices, well cooked & presented.& the coffee area by reception was an excellent area for family members & residents. Equally the beautiful gardens, with plenty of tables & chairs was another area, when weather allowed, to sit out. Everyday there were activities to participate in, never easy to suit everyone at all times, always encouraged to take part in. Overall a good experience for someone who wasn't initially enthusiastic of the stay, certainly would recommend to others."

"I came in unexpectedly for brief respite care, in pain and virtually immobile. I was given a warm and cheerful welcome, the room was lovely and the staff were a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. I wish I could thank them all personally. I really enjoyed the food, which was varied and good. My visiting husband also appreciated it! Thank you so much."

"My father received amazing care at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont Care Home. The staff were so kind and attentive. Unfortunately, Dad was very unhappy here as he missed his flat and his friends. We are moving him back to his flat with a live-in carer but I know he will miss the incredible care and staff at Bushey House. Thank you to everyone who made his stay so comfortable."

"I visit my friend, a resident here, on a regular basis. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the general care of the residents seems good and caring. There are frequent activities which I think is so important for the elderly who probably have led a quiet and lonely life before moving here and now have something every day in which to be interested and to fill their time. Well done to all concerned."

"The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have recently been taking my mum to activities at the care home. She is introduced to the residents and included with the residents to warm drinks and food and the staff are very caring. I pick her up and she is always chatting away with new people smiling and laughing. They have a very good social life which keeps everyone happy, interested and engaged."
