"I stayed for two weeks of respite care initially now arranging to stay permanently. I have found most of the staff to be helpful and friendly as well as caring. The food and kitchen team are excellent. I am only able to eat small amounts regularly and it would be good to be able to have a snack meal when I am actually able to eat - at that time. Happy with the management team - very caring and helpful."

"Mum has been so well cared for. Her medical and mental care are helping her readjust to her new circumstances following a number of medical issues. The team are so friendly checking in on her constantly and keep her amused. Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support for mum's recovery."

"Our friend has been in this nursing home for four and a half years and has just celebrated her 90th birthday. The home provided a delicious spread for her special birthday, and the cake was amazing - well-done chef! The general manager has been exceptionally helpful, especially over the past months, dealing with her funding. His staff are very kind, friendly and attentive, and our friend is really treated as 'one of the family.' She is happy at Bushey Beaumont and enjoys the food and nursing care. She is able to participate in some of the activities programmed and also enjoys time spent in the lovely, extensive gardens."

"I have spent a very pleasant three weeks at Beaumont. The general atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. Despite the current restoration of the kitchen, the food is very good and pleasantly served. If I have to have permanent care I would choose Beaumont."

"Two years ago living alone in the family home, I felt I was not safe there or when I went outside. I, therefore, came here. It has provided all I could desire and I would not wish to be anywhere else. There is a lot of love in this place. Covid Excellent is set against standards complying with Covid rules and recommendations/ The food and drink reflect the staff concerned operating without their kitchen or dining room for a material period, their performance was magnificent."

"My father's respite stay provided him with the high level of care he needed from a team of kind, caring and supportive carers. The whole family were impressed by the care and attention he received to ensure every need was more than met. He enjoys the food, the company of the carers and the entertainment. My family are grateful for everything they did to make his stay a positive one."

"This was my mother's second visit to Barchester Bushey House Beaumont and once again the staff and care have been excellent. Apart from the weekend when there were staff issues in the kitchen, the food was really good too. There was always a good choice of entertainment and they tried to include my mother whenever possible."

"My mother has stayed in Bushey House Beaumont three times now, as a temporary resident and has always had the best care one could ask for. Medical care is always available, and all the staff could not be more kind and caring to her. We are very happy and have peace of mind knowing this home looks after her so well. "I was here for a week's respite. The staff were very friendly. They answered calls for assistance very promptly. They were helpful in catering for my dietary requirements. The room was bright but not sure of the cleaning routine, it was not cleaned every day. It's not appropriate to be disturbed when already in bed at 10 pm to fill in a questionnaire on my toilet habits or have a Covid test, I know it's essential but timing! A mostly favourable experience."

"I am a regular visitor at Bushey House and I am always made to feel so welcome by the manager who with her friendly smile will always make time to talk to me about my day and offer me a cup of tea. The carers are smiling and welcoming, residents are well-presented and always busy doing something. Carers with a warm welcome, It’s a pleasure to visit. Luxurious, clean warm environment. Great cakes too!"

"The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have recently been taking my mum to activities at the care home. She is introduced to the residents and included with the residents to warm drinks and food and the staff are very caring. I pick her up and she is always chatting away with new people smiling and laughing. They have a very good social life which keeps everyone happy, interested and engaged."

"My father received amazing care at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont Care Home. The staff were so kind and attentive. Unfortunately, Dad was very unhappy here as he missed his flat and his friends. We are moving him back to his flat with a live-in carer but I know he will miss the incredible care and staff at Bushey House. Thank you to everyone who made his stay so comfortable."

"I visit my friend, a resident here, on a regular basis. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the general care of the residents seems good and caring. There are frequent activities which I think is so important for the elderly who probably have led a quiet and lonely life before moving here and now have something every day in which to be interested and to fill their time. Well done to all concerned."

"Was a resident for two weeks for respite care. The kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating. The chef was always willing to prepare an alternative to what was on the menu and would come out and ask if I was happy with the food. All in all the manners, service and care were excellent."

"Our friend was terminally ill and knew it himself. The staff dealing with him were amazingly attentive and supportive. If he asked for attention by ringing the bell, the response from staff was immediate. Three of us were with him when he died. When the staff heard the news from us, we had sympathies and hugs from staff. They then sat us down in a quiet area to settle ourselves and they brought us coffee. Amazing service for which we are very grateful."

"My husband has enjoyed his time here, I was happy because I knew he would be looked after really well. The food and ambience has been wonderful, its like a five star hotel. We will certainly use the home again because it is like a real home, it is so comfortable. Had lunch with my husband and it was excellent. I would like to stay here myself. "When we first arrived in the care park, we looked in through the kitchen window and were very impressed with the size and quality. The menu reflects that good first impression. My aunt is very happy here and though reluctant at first, now joins in with many of the activities."

"From the first telephone conversation, to visiting the home, to check out, was brilliant. We were shown the grounds, the rooms, the customer waiting room, the dining area, all were very nicely decorated. I would recommend this facility to anyone. "I have been staying at Barchester Bushey House every August for the last three years and have loved it, for respite care. The quality of care is outstanding; the staff are incredibly kind and caring. The home boasts a happy, cheerful atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, and nutritious with plenty of choice. The grounds are spacious and pleasant to view. The recent refurbishment of rooms is tastefully designed and eye-catching. It's been a pleasure to stay at this care home."

"We are so pleased to see the front door sorted as they have been open since Christmas. Everyone tries hard to care for the residents. We are happy to see my sister-in-law looking better. But it would be good to see her supervised when she gets dressed and see she's wearing her layers of clothes."

"It was my mother's birthday earlier this month. I was delighted that on her birthday the numerous staff were aware and she had good wishes and 'Happy Birthdays' from so many. She returned to the house at teatime and staff gathered with the residents to sing 'Happy Birthday'. My mum is treated and spoken to with respect and kindness. We are so happy with our choice of Barchester Homes and she is safe and so well looked after."

"My husband and I received a very warm welcome and were allocated a spacious and tastefully furnished 'couples' room. I suffer from MS and am wheelchair-bound with no lower body sensation or control. I was delighted with the provision of equipment to meet my needs and the care and dedication of staff caring for me. When my husband joined me after a hip replacement operation the assistance, care and encouragement he received contributed to his speedy recovery and excellent progress in regaining his mobility. I have no hesitation in planning to return in the future."
