Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Hi my name is Angela, known as Angie, I joined Paternoster House in April 2016 as a care assistant, I have a passion for enriching our residents lives and being part of the Activities Team means I can help them achieve their dreams, keep them motivated and happy.

Life at Paternoster House Care Home
Families Reunited!
We are delighted to say that we are now offering socially distanced visits for relatives of our residents within our garden space. To protect our residents we have had to carefully arrange the visits with social distancing and thorough cleaning between each visit. If you are a relative, please get in touch with our team to arrange your visit.
Happy 90th Birthday!
Happy birthday to one of our lovely ladies who turned 90 today! We celebrated with a big cake and lots of balloons!
Thank you to our local community
Thank you to our local community for some lovely and thoughtful gifts dropped off here at Paternoster House for our staff. We are amazed at how the wonderful our local community have supported us and been so generous over this time.
Mocktails in the Sunshine!
We beat the heatwave here at Paternoster by having some tasty mocktails in the garden. We paired the delicious drinks with fresh fruit to make sure that everybody stays well and hydrated during these warm days.
Garden Activities
Here pictured, one of our lovely residents Gus has been busy helping our maintenance team paint the garden furniture! We love our residents getting involved in daily activities with our team and it seems that they have a lot of fun too!
Card Making - Thank You Everybody!
Our residents here at Paternoster house have enjoyed an afternoon of card making to say a massive thank you to all of our local community for their kind donations over the last few months. Thank you everybody!
