Activities at Pinetree Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Merry Christmas
We would like to wish all of our incredible residents and their families and friends a very very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
We were surprised by a visit from Santa Claus himself to deliver the residents presents and they were delighted with their very thoughtful gifts.
Our head chef and team worked so hard to deliver a fantastic Christmas meal and a beautiful festive afternoon. What a year it’s been for Pinetree so far, we cannot wait for what’s to come in 2025.

Honoured with a Community Card Donation
We would like to say a huge thank you to Shannon Colon and the amazing Sleigh Belles Card Donation Group for their incredibly kind donation of hand written Christmas cards for our residents.
The cards were delivered to the home and the residents were so thrilled to receive such a beautiful thought from a local community group.
Please know that your group means so much to so many people.
Employee of the month
We are proud to announce this months' Employee of the Month is Sam.
Sam is one of our wonderful senior Care Assistants at Pinetree.
Sam was nominated by both staff and residents for the incredible job she does every single day. We are so proud to have Sam, she is hard working, diligent, happy, kind and always gives 100%.
Thank you Sam from everyone at Pinetree, you are a very special member of the team.
Pinetree First Christmas Fete
We held our first Christmas fete at Pinetree at the weekend and it was AMAZING!!
We would like to say special thanks to lovely Alice who created a game to ‘name the teddy’. Alice was raising valuable funds for cancer research and with everybodies donations she raised £28.50.
Our lovely friends at S. Stibbards & Sons donated their epic fairground games for young and old to enjoy and it created quite a competition. Lots of joy involved in those.
They were also very generous in their raffle donation. An echo dot was the hot prize everyone wanted to win.
We ended a perfect day with an enchanting performance from Hildale singers. The residents, staff and guests were all moved to tears and when asked everyone said that the children were the best part of the day.
Our guests were treated to mince pies, hot chocolate, mulled wine and a Photo Booth to capture those special memories of pinetree’s first Christmas fete.

Today we had a very special arrival……
Our amazing reception Christmas tree.
Everyone was feeling festive so, with some Christmas music playing and everyone together we decided, today was the day we switched on Christmas.
They joy was palpabul and it certainly warmed our chilly bodies.
