Activities at Pinetree Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Pinetree Care Home
Pet Therapy
Pet therapy is hugely popular here at Pinetree. The calming nature of animals and the affection they offer the resident is good for the soul.
When our residents heard we had the animals visiting they all wanted a little cuddle with the bunnies and a chat with a doggy. We even had a friendly cockatiel and a hedgehog!

Happy Birthday to Elvis
Today would have been Elvis’ birthday and to celebrate our staff and residents partied away and enjoyed an American themed dinner.
We danced together, laughed together and turned American together.
An exceptional afternoon. We will sleep well tonight.
Employee of the month - Sam
Introducing our incredible Senior Care Assistant Sam.
Sam has been with Pinetree since we opened our doors at the end of August and she has already achieved Employee of the month as voted for by her peers and residents.
We couldn't be luckier to have Sam on our team.
Happy New Year
There is nothing quite like an afternoon boogey! Couple that with the fact its New Years Eve and you've got yourself a party.
We had a great time listening to the classics and having a dance. Our amazing carer Hayley even dusted off her vocal chords and gave us a show all of her very own and she was incredible. The residents were thrilled.
Of course any good party must have 'Sweet Caroline' played at it and we just so happen to have the sweetest Caroline there is. Caroline loved everysecond of her duet and dance and it was incredibly heartwarming to watch.
All in all its been one of those gorgeous afternoons that has meant so much to our residents and staff.

Merry Christmas
We would like to wish all of our incredible residents and their families and friends a very very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
We were surprised by a visit from Santa Claus himself to deliver the residents presents and they were delighted with their very thoughtful gifts.
Our head chef and team worked so hard to deliver a fantastic Christmas meal and a beautiful festive afternoon.
What a year it’s been for Pinetree so far, we cannot wait for what’s to come in 2025.

Honoured with a Community Card Donation
We would like to say a huge thank you to Shannon Colon and the amazing Sleigh Belles Card Donation Group for their incredibly kind donation of hand written Christmas cards for our residents.
The cards were delivered to the home and the residents were so thrilled to receive such a beautiful thought from a local community group.
