Activities at Pinetree Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Pinetree Care Home
Charitable Car Wash
Yesterday, we took part in a charity car wash to help raise funds for the Barchester Charitable Foundation.
This is a very important charity as it helps to raise funds to go back into the local community for the elderly snd disadvantaged.
Pinetree has already helped 2 local companies to secure funds to help their community groups and it makes us very proud.
We cleaned 10 cars snd a motorbike and raised £134.

Open Day and Grand Natinal
We have had an incredible Open Day today.
To be able to help people, that are looking for care, navigate what is often a very difficult decision, fills us with immense pride.
Thank you to Browns Solicitors and Reclaim Mobility for your support today also and for helping as many people as you did.
To top the day off we joined together in one of our lounges and watched The Grand National. there was whooping and cheering as everyone was on the edge of their seats hoping to win the sweep stake.
We would like to say a massive well done to our amazing resident Margaret who came 1st and 3rd! and our very own Loretta who came second.

World Theatre Day
Decorating Venetian masks was the order of today and there was music and colour and glitter and pure delight as the residents showed pride in their creations after a morning of musical theatre.
Happy Birthday Pearl
Our beautiful resident Pearl had a birthday this weekend and we celebrated her like the queen she is.
Lots of fun, laughter, cake, singing and dancing.
Special memories made with new friends and her amazing family altogether.
Happy birthday Pearl. You mean the world to us and we are glad we could give you a wonderful birthday.
