Activities at Cheshire Grange Care Home
The activities team are constantly striving to meet the varied needs of everyone who lives in our home, offering a wide range of group and individual social events. There are regular visits from entertainers, along with craft activities, baking, games & puzzle days and pampering sessions, which fill the week. However, we can always find time for outings and just spending that little bit of special time with residents who enjoy the peace and quiet. We aim to bring the activities to the individual, whilst making it a whole home experience.

After originally starting at Cheshire Grange in May 2015, I'm delighted to be back in the role of Activities Coordinator. It is a privilege to be in this role and spend time, getting to know our ladies and gentleman and their loved one, whilst doing all the fun things that can make such a difference to their days.

Cheshire Grange's Employee of the Month for April
Our Employee of the Month for April was Tracey Halshaw, who received a voucher from our manager Allison Kennie as a gift. Thank you, Tracey, for all your dedication and hard work that has made this award very well-deserved.
International Nurses' Day at Cheshire Grange
Kat (Head of Memory Lane), Lizzie (Head of Residential & Nursing) and Lorraine (Nurse) celebrated International Nurses' Day with their thermal mugs that were gifted to them by Barchester.
Cheshire Grange's March Employee of the Month
Our manager Allison was more than happy to present carer assistant Charlotte Dobson with a shopping voucher for her winning Employee of the Month at Cheshire Grange. Well done Charlotte!
Musical Moments
Cheshire Grange had a special visit from Beckie at Musical Moments who put on a show for all the residents. They all had a lovely afternoon singing and dancing along!
Employee of the Month - March
Our first Employee Of the Month at Cheshire Grange in March was supported well within the home by friends and family members taking part.
We had 29 nominations for many members of staff and in the end our Manager chose a well deserved winner, who had 3 nominations.
Charlotte Dobson who was recognised for her work ethic and positive attitude towards her clients and co-workers, was very happy to receive a shopping voucher for her hard work.
We are all looking forward to seeing who next months winner is!
The Jolly Thresher
We have been Making the most if the lovely spring weather by visiting local restaurant ‘The Jolly Thresher’ in Lymm.
We had a lovely time relaxing in the beer garden reminiscing and listening to the birds.
