Activities at Kenwyn Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Kenwyn Care Home

And the winner of Kenwyn's Pet photography competition is....!

One of Kenwyn's lovely residents, Barbara, was asked to kindly judge our Animal Photography Competition, a role she was happy to do and took very seriously.

After much deliberation she has decided that the worthy winner of a Cornish Cream Tea Hamper is:

Beano!

Beano's photo was sent to us by his owner, Angela Philp. Beano was sitting pretty for his Groomer, and we are sure you will agree, makes a very worthy winner.

Well Done BEANO!

The Fourth Emergency Service

Yesterday saw another Emergency Services Breakfast success for Kenwyn! General Manager Marie and Home Services Advisor Adele, gathered a selection of delicious homemade pastries from Kenwyn's kitchen and sped off to say Thank you to the RNLI. The RNLI are a world leading and modern day Emergency Service, and we wanted to say a small thank you for all they do. Jonathan, pictured, was very thankful for our visit and we feel we have made a new friend. Who will be next on our list to say Thank you to?!
