Activities at Reigate Beaumont Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising and delivering a fun mix of activities and events chosen by the residents here at Reigate Beaumont. We work closely with the local community who get involved in all kinds of activities within the home. We enjoy all kinds of events which could be anything from trips out to local places of interest in our minibus or visits from entertainers and musicians, spending time in our beautiful gardens, or providing great activities for the mind body and soul. We liaise with local churches and regularly hold multi-congregational services at the home.
It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and invite them to our regular events. We also have a variety of volunteers who really enjoy spending time within the home too.

Life at Reigate Beaumont Care Home
Fashion Show Fun
Reigate Beaumont recently transformed into a runway for a fabulous fashion show featuring residents and staff.
The event was a resounding success, with residents donning stylish outfits and accessories.
Applause filled the air as each participant strutted down the runway, showcasing their unique flair. Tea and cakes followed, turning this stylish affair into a cherished memory.
Ginger Biscuits Galore
Christmas creativity was on display as residents took part in our ginger biscuit decorating session.
Guided by the activities team, residents turned plain biscuits into edible works of art with icing and festive sprinkles.
Joan said, “I haven’t done this since my children when we were young!”
It was a delightful afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and the comforting aroma of freshly baked biscuits.
Christmas Carol Joy at Reigate Beaumont
The festive spirit was in full swing at Reigate Beaumont during our Christmas carol event.
Residents gathered in the lounge, enjoying the melodic tunes of classic carols performed by a local choir.
The warm glow of mulled wine and the comforting taste of mince pies made the experience truly magical.
Laughter, singing, and the sparkle of Christmas lights created a cosy atmosphere that everyone cherished.
Celebrating Elizabeth’s 74th Wedding Anniversary and 95th Birthday
This month, Reigate Beaumont had the honour of celebrating two incredible milestones for Elizabeth and her husband, both residents of our home.
On the same special day, they marked their 74th wedding anniversary and Elizabeth’s 95th birthday!
Residents and staff came together to celebrate with a stunning cake. The couple shared heartfelt smiles and gratitude as they reminisced about their journey together.
It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, showcasing the joy and strong community spirit at Reigate Beaumont.
Shaw's Corner War Memorial - Remembrance Service!
We were honoured to receive an invitation from the office of the Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead to attend the Sunday Remembrance Service at Shaw’s Corner War Memorial in Redhill.
When discussing the outing and the service with our residents, they expressed their wish to lay a wreath, as a few of the gentlemen residents had served.
Some had fathers that had also served so it meant so much to be able to attend.
It was a moving morning’s service which was overwhelming for our residents who took great pride in representing our home.
Fabulous Fireworks
Wow! Reigate Beaumont main grounds were lit up with the most amazing fireworks display on Bonfire Night!
Everyone had a fantastic view, even indoors watching through the windows, we were able to see the sky light up!
We were privileged to welcome Tony, his team and lots of little beavers and cubs from 17th Reigate (St Joseph's) Scout Group to watch the display with us.
It was a superb evening with residents, relatives, staff and our community connections enjoying delicious hotdogs, mulled wine and cake!
Huge thank you to our fabulous Chef's and especially to John, our Senior Head of Maintenance for putting on the most amazing fireworks display.
