"I am absolutely delighted, this is the first time in three years, that I have had my legs without a bandage. I have only been here three weeks and this is fantastic. I am thankful for the nursing and care staff. I am a celiac and the chef gives me great options and the food is good."

"I am here because my family live in Reigate and I am lucky as they visit me quite often and do the shopping for me. I am very warm and comfortable here in my room. All the staff are basically very helpful. All needs are met fairly immediately."

"So pleased that my father is at Reigate Beaumont. We have seen a marked improvement in his health, happiness and overall well being since he has been a resident there. He is very happy and well looked after. The staff are friendly, caring and considerate. The range of activities is good and my father has thoroughly enjoyed taking part. Accommodation, food and surroundings are all lovely, especially the beautiful gardens. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others."

"Spent two short stays before becoming a resident and I was not disappointed when I moved in. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The staff are first class, friendly and helpful, so I settled in with no difficulty, especially as I enjoy the food."

"When we were looking for a place for our aunt, for respite care which we vaguely hoped would become a longer stay. Our first impressions were very good. Friendly staff, clean, range of activities, good menu, beautiful grounds. Our longer experience has not disappointed. To our surprise and pleasure our aunt, who had been reluctant to leave her home and neighbours, was very quickly saying that she had not a bad word to say about the home. This has become even more positive now, and she very readily, after a few weeks, agreed to make the stay permanent. She has made a number of friends and looks more relaxed than we have seen her in a long time."

"My mother is a resident and turned 90 in September. The home kindly agreed to host a family function, including a very pleasant lunch, which was a great success. My wife and I travelled from Australia to attend and our eldest son made the journey from Canada with his daughter - my Mother's Great Grand Daughter. The staff were exceptional and provided a superb cake to mark the occasion. All of the family were extremely grateful for the personal touch that the staff provided on that special day, and indeed, consistently provide to the residents."

"Our experience at the Beaumont since Dad arrived earlier this summer following a serious stroke has been entirely positive. The home, and its garden, in particular, is exceptional as are the levels of care and attention. We have been very happy with our choice."

"Impressed, at present, I am a temporary resident but having fallen off a wall and broken my right arm I am seriously thinking of becoming permanent (I will be 100 in 3 months' time). The carers here (those I've met) are wonderful, they do anything for you, the other staff (again the few I've met) again, these remarks apply - especially to the head chef (I have to have a special lunch) - whose lunches I really look forward to."

"The home has a lovely feel when you enter, it feels warm and homely and the lounge and dining areas are always well looked after and presented. The staff seem caring and compassionate. My father-in-law has no complaints and has been happy since living here starting in September last year. It has been a relief for the family to know he is being well looked after."

"Beautifully maintained residence and gardens. Excellent care and attention to detail. I am continually impressed with all of the staff, both those I know directly and those who attend my Aunt. When my Aunt (95) took up residency, she was virtually immobile, thin, depressed, confused and did not bother too much about her personal care. Within weeks, she was moving about independently with a walking aid, enjoying her food, talking to other residents, having her hair washed and attended to and started to take an interest in what she wore. Months down the line, she has survived Covid-19 due entirely to the standard of care and the precautions set up and carried out in the home. Aunty is enjoying the gardens now and when weather permits she sits outside, keeping social distance, for a short while every day. She tells me ‘I am very content’, and I feel quite emotional that she is where she is at this time of her life and we have made the best decision for her."

"I was always happy with the care that Mum was receiving at the Beaumont, but since the advent of Covid 19, it has been amazing. The staff are wonderful - always friendly and always there for her. She needs a soft food diet and the chef has gone out of his way to give her meals that she not only can eat, but actually looks forward to. He will ask her for feedback on her meals and has also ensured that she has a well balanced healthy diet. The grounds are beautiful and in the good weather, Mum enjoys being able to sit on the terrace. Mum initially went to the Beaumont for respite and decided to stay - I am so pleased. It gives me peace of mind to know she is safe and well looked after."

"My father has been happy and content at Barchester Reigate. His room is ideal (with an excellent view), he loves the garden (which is beautifully maintained) and walking in the huge garden is one of his great pleasures in life. He says the food is first-class and always plentiful. Perhaps most importantly, the care and nursing service is generally excellent, putting our minds at rest that he is being well cared for in all respects."

"From the moment you walk through the front door, there is always a welcoming feel. The nursing and caring staff are excellent. The kitchen and catering staff are extremely good. The food is beautifully presented, and there is always a wide variety on the menu each day. I couldn't ask for more in how everyone looks after my husband's care, and nothing seems to be to much trouble; they seem to go the extra mile to help."

"My 84-year-old mother had been in hospital for a month before going to Reigate Beaumont and I cannot praise them enough. She has obviously been sad at not being well enough to come home but the home has managed to get her settled and happy. We have not seen her in person for over two months but with the help of the care staff, we manage to talk through Skype. The receptionist is a lovely lady who will also try to find a solution to a problem. The nurses and care providers do a wonderful job in very difficult times and I am so grateful for their care of my mum. Thank you Barchester Reigate Beaumont."

"Mum moved into the Reigate Beaumont in June this year having suffered a heart attack. I can not recommend this home more. The care staff are so kind and thoughtful and despite my Mum saying she would never want to live in a care home she has said now that she does not want to go back to her house as she is much happier here. The nursing staff are diligent and knowledgable and keep a close eye on Mum. Mum loves her food and she says that the food at Reigate is lovely which is a true testament. I know it is difficult times and visiting mum is difficult but the staff bent over backwards to make every garden visit a happy experience. Would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the home."

"If you are looking for a home from home for your loved one, I cannot praise the staff enough for their amazing empathetic kindness to my mother and stepfather whilst being here. Beautiful surroundings, modern and up to date home, comfortable, light and airy rooms, friendly faces, always someone to talk to if you have any queries. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent all round and would 100% recommend. Activities are available in a beautiful lounge, lovely dining facilities. Dignity and respect were given at all times."

"I cannot recommend the Beaumont highly enough. My mother received truly excellent care, and I always felt she was being well looked after at all times. I was so grateful to individual carers and managers who went out of their way to make her happy and comfortable. The food was second to none. The reception staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient, and nothing was ever too much trouble. In these COVID times, visiting was always made as safe and easy as possible in the outside area."

"Extremely kind and helpful staff. This has been a very difficult time with restrictions for visiting but I have been less worried because of the amazing care my dad has received. Dad has two key workers who he has got to know well which makes a big difference to him."

"My brother has been at Reigate Beaumont for about 3 years. In that time, we have found the staff very caring and efficient, especially in the last year when times have been very difficult for all. The reception desk has operated as usual and is always very helpful in answering any queries or requests. I feel unhappy that the residents have been confined to their rooms for such a long time, which has hampered any exercise and been quite depressing for them. I do understand that this may have been necessary, and the ruling came from Barchester, but nevertheless, I did notice that my brother was quite withdrawn when we were eventually allowed to visit him. I do give much praise for the organising of firstly, the marquee, and then the pod which is beautifully kitted out and lovely and warm! Half an hour goes just too quickly! My brother says that he enjoys the food and the catering staff did their bit during the summer, making the most of having special teas out in the garden."

"I was extremely impressed at how the staff are managing and looking after everybody during the pandemic. Staff are always friendly, the visiting pod is very clean and all staff wear PPE to protect the residents. It is a very difficult time for everybody but the staff are so reassuring and kind to the residents and do their utmost to ensure they have comfort and contact as much as possible. Thank you all for everything you are doing."

"We have been delighted with our choice of Barchester Reigate Beaumont Care Home. Dad was discharged from hospital in the midst of the Covid pandemic, which added complexity to what is already a stressful time. The whole team at Reigate Beaumont have been fantastic, from the initial administration to the care itself, medical support and the activities provided. Communication with us, as a family, has been exceptional. It is evident that staff want to provide the best experience for residents."

"My mother was admitted to Beaumont Reigate from hospital after she had a fall which left her with multiple fractures. She was immediately treated with kindness and respect. The nurses and carers were attentive and the GP was excellent. She had physiotherapy and despite refusing to eat, a carer patiently attempted and still attempts, to feed her. At 101 years of age, the outlook seemed bleak but she is progressing well and is taken in her padded wheelchair to any activities in the lounge that the carers feel she can attend and from which she might benefit. I would recommend this care home. The gardens surrounding it are beautiful and ALL the staff are happy and caring."

"My husband has stayed at Barchester Reigate Beaumont for respite several times over the last two years. When it came to choosing where to stay permanently Reigate Beaumont was the only place my husband wanted to live. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The level of care given is outstanding. All staff are willing to stop and have a chat with the residents and visitors alike. Everyone is made to feel part of the 'family Beaumont.' There is a lovely happy, calm atmosphere throughout the home. There is an excellent and varied choice of food which is chosen by the residents from a daily menu brought to their room. Refreshments are available all day. There is an outstanding entertainment programme offering a varied selection. All residents are encouraged by staff to join in. There are plenty of cosy areas to meet and have a chat, including a beautiful garden. This home comes highly recommended."

"Our mother has been a resident at The Beaumont for nearly a year, and having initially been reluctant to live permanently in any home, she was made to feel very welcome and has settled in well. Without exception, the staff are wonderful - very attentive, responsive, caring and always professional. The spacious gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained and provide a wonderful setting for various activities, including an Easter egg hunt, barbecue and various garden parties and celebrations. Mum loves all the many activities, including various musical events, flower arranging, quizzes, Pilates, visits from local school children, a pat dog, a Shetland pony and most recently, a fashion show! Mum’s birthday was very special - she was presented with a huge, delicious cake, and her room was decorated with balloons and banners. The food is excellent - with a good choice and regular tasting events. The Beaumont gives us daughters great peace of mind that Mum is being well cared for."

"I have had a wonderful time volunteering at Reigate Beaumont and have gained a lot of experience through running musical sessions and sing-a-longs for the residents. Working with the staff, I have noticed everyone is so lovely and gets on well with one another. Grounds are truly impressive, we have held huge events here such as the 'Family Fun Day' in the summer. Would recommend this place and its wonderful team!"

"My father is a resident at this wonderful care home. He's lived here for 2 years, initially with my mother. The care he receives is absolutely exceptional, from all the staff. They are so incredibly kind and caring. He has a wide variety of activities to entertain him, from choir practice to excursions to the local area. The food is wonderful they cater to his gluten-free dietary requirements. I am so grateful that we found such an amazing home for him to live in and know that he is happy and settled here. I can't thank the manager and all the rest of the staff enough!"

"Absolutely in awe of all the staff here. Acting as my aunt's LPA, residential care was new to me. Reigate Beaumont has not only physically cared for my aunt during the last 6 months, but they’ve also supported me on the difficult journey of being responsible for a mentally competent, elderly relative who is no longer physically able to look after herself. Similarly, the whole team have been incredibly kind, patient and understanding as my aunt, who is strongly resistant to being in care and to change, (slowly and very grumpily!) adjusts to a new way of living so late in life. I haven’t rated activities as currently, my aunt won’t participate in the lots on offer. Likewise, I’ve not rated value for money as I have no previous comparisons but I have no complaints and feel my aunt's continuing care here is money very well spent."

"The home has always been excellent, with great carers and nursing staff. Last week it was my wife's birthday and despite her mobility and communication difficulties the staff gave her a lovely cake, which we the relatives also enjoyed and we had a small party which she very much enjoyed. I can certainly recommend Reigate Beaumont as an excellent nursing home."

"I have no hesitation in recommending Barchester Reigate Beaumont to anyone who requires first-class professional care in an effective care environment. My mother has been a resident for over ten years and through those years, including, of course, the pandemic, we have been relieved and delighted at the care she has received. Headed by a strong management team, the care and nursing staff alongside all the support staff are professional, welcoming and always ready to accommodate all her needs as well as the family's. As we prepare to celebrate a big birthday, the entire team has been brilliant in coming together to ensure a happy and memorable day. The home has first-class facilities, set in beautiful and extensive gardens, an excellent and varied selection of delicious food and a comprehensive daily activities programme."

"My mother has been at Barchester Reigate Beaumont for ten years. I have nothing but praise for her care. Each member of staff has been wonderful; the management, personal carers, nurses, cleaners and activity organisers. The chefs and kitchen staff produce the most delicious food. The personal care Mum receives from her carers is excellent, especially given her age and disability. The staff are always very welcoming to all our family and even our dogs! It is a pleasure to visit Mum and a great comfort that she is looked after so well."

"As a retired nurse, I'm very impressed with the personal care at the Beaumont. The lady I visit has been at the Beaumont for many years and over Christmas this year I was very conscious of the staff going the extra mile to help residents not only look their best but to feel part of the celebrations despite being so handicapped. The staff are very polite and kind, the food is excellent."

"My dad was initially staying for respite care but had a terminal diagnosis at the beginning of his stay. He sadly passed away six weeks later. Barchester Reigate Beaumont staff were excellent, very compassionate and understanding of our situation. We spent a lot of time with Dad but never worried when we weren't there as we knew the staff were checking on him and would help with all his needs. The room Dad had was lovely, although if he had been more mobile, the bathroom would have been a problem as it was so small. At the beginning of his stay, Dad was having a normal diet. The food was excellent. As Dad's condition deteriorated, the staff made sure that his menu changed, soft food and getting him drinks and food when he fancied, it was never a problem. Although Dad was not well enough to take part, we were impressed by the activity list that the residents received each week. The support we were given by the staff in Dad's final days was excellent, they were very caring and supportive."

"Mum struggled with the idea of losing her independence and it did take a while. She had a lovely room overlooking the park-like grounds which she enjoyed enormously. I think if Mum had arrived earlier she would have had a lot of happy hours out on the beautiful terrace and no doubt thrown herself into the many activities going on. At the end of her days, she was looked after with so much care, it was amazing. The staff were kind and the doctor was a regular visitor - it was all very peaceful and dignified - I will always be grateful for this."

"My mother initially stayed at Beaumont for respite care after a fall and a short stay in the hospital. Beaumont was very helpful from the outset in helping us at very short notice. First impressions were very encouraging, and Mum settled in very quickly, She soon decided to make her stay permanent, despite the understandable reservations around such a big decision. The care and attention from all the staff is absolutely first class, nothing seems too much trouble. The atmosphere is excellent, and it's always a pleasure to visit. We couldn't recommend Beaumont more highly."

"Mum has been a resident at Barchester Reigate Beaumont for two years now following an initial period of respite care. The whole team at Beaumont are caring and compassionate and they go out of their way to make sure Mum is settled and happy. The activities programme offers plenty of stimulation and interesting things to do and equally, if Mum doesn't fancy joining in and just wants a quiet day in her room watching TV, the carers are sure to check on her regularly to make sure she is okay. The food is great with plenty of choice and the gardens are lovely. The carers and nursing team are professional, diligent and kind. The home has exceeded our expectations in every way. Can not recommend it highly enough."
