"I just wanted to send a message to say how thrilled I was when I went to visit my aunt last week, she seemed so content and happy. When I arrived, she was having her hair done and was laughing and joking with the lady that was doing her hair. The grounds were stunning even with the cold bad weather and the staff were attentive and lovely. I am so happy that she is there."

"I have been so impressed with the Reigate Beaumont care home since Mum moved in. The Manageress is friendly, helpful, professional, super efficient and always has an open door, giving that extra reassurance. I am so grateful to her for accommodating Mum's needs and I feel that Mum's general wellbeing has greatly improved since she became a resident here. The staff are wonderful. They are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming. I would have no hesitation in recommending Reigate Beaumont."

"Mum had a respite stay at Reigate Beaumont over Christmas 2018. This was her first stay at a care home and despite initial reservations, she had a fabulous time. She enjoyed the food, said the staff were all very friendly and there were plenty of activities to keep her occupied. When I went to collect mum I found her well rested and happy. Mum has said she isn't quite ready to give up her bungalow just yet. But when she is, she wants to become a full-time resident at Reigate Beaumont. Thanks for taking good care of her."

"My week's stay was just what I needed after a back operation. I have a comfortable room and the staff were wonderfully kind. I was able to do everything for myself but it was a great comfort to know that the help was there. The food was excellent and just the right portion sizes, all delicious and a varied menu. My relaxing stay has helped tremendously with my ongoing recovery, for which I say, many thanks to all of you."

"My stepmother has been at the Reigate Beaumont for a year now. I chose this home because of its lovely staff, the general ambience inside, well-presented rooms and stunning terrace and grounds. I knew that we would need end of life care and this is offered by this home. I have been so pleased with all the wonderful care. The carers and the nurses are second to none. Today I was at the home and a nurse, who has been so very supportive to my stepmother, asked me (and not for the first time) how I felt in myself through this difficult time. I cannot thank her, and all the rest of the team, enough for their extreme kindness. There is so much to praise about the whole team, from the Activities Organiser, kitchen staff, receptionist to the manager, who are all doing their utmost best to help in every way they can. Most of all, the carers and nurses who are so thoughtful and kind at a very difficult time - offering professional, practical and heartwarming care."

"The staff are always available to help me when I call for them, they are helpful. I don't feel I have one member of staff looking after me because they do shift work. The room is pleasant and I like the view and sitting by the window. The food is enjoyable and I like my glass of wine."

"My Mum stayed at Beaumont for 10 days respite while we went away on holiday. I was so concerned about leaving her but I should never have worried! The care she received was top class, the staff couldn't have been nicer! She was given food that she liked even though it wasn't always necessarily on the menu. She was encouraged to join in the activities and although she wouldn't always join in she was asked every time. My daughter and Brother visited while we were away and they were so pleased that she was happy and content each time they turned up. I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff - each and every 1 was so lovely and I imagine it isn't the easiest job in the world! Thank you!"

"This has been my second stay at the Beaumont and the care and attention you receive from staff and management are excellent. The very large and beautiful garden is a bonus especially when the sun shines. My stay has been very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful and I have been very well looked after."

"I have been very happy here despite my pain and inability to walk. The carers have been very attentive. The kitchen staff are very friendly and the head cook the food is excellent. The physiotherapist is very good as well as the hairdresser. Made lots of friends and I will keep in contact with them."

"We cannot recommend the Reigate Beaumont highly enough. It is expertly run by a superb Manager who is not only charming, friendly and super efficient but from the very first visit, you can see that she is greatly respected and admired by all those making up her team at Beaumont, as well as the residents and their families. Residents are made to feel extremely welcome by every member of staff; from the care, nursing and catering teams, to entertainments etc, nothing was ever too much trouble. Indeed we were extraordinarily grateful to the manager for going to enormous lengths, to accommodate Mother's difficult dietary and other needs. The food was excellent, very high-quality ingredients, all very nicely presented in a beautiful dining room, making a friendly and enjoyable experience. On the morning our Mother passed away, again, this wonderful team at Beaumont made a horrible experience more bearable by their kindness, consideration and compassion. Our heartfelt thanks to you all."

"Beaumont is a gem of a care home, my wife is on a short respite break and often seems 'allergic' to such places, but she loves this one! Staff are good humoured, very kind and the home is beautifully maintained with breathtaking gardens. The family are delighted that mum has found a room here among such caring, professional people. All I can add is, when the day arrives for me to leave home, I can think of a nicer place to relax in. Quite brilliant."

"I have been in this nursing home for 2 weeks and have received good treatment overall. The majority of the staff have a good sense of humour and are very caring. Excellent food, variety and quality. "I would 100% recommend Reigate Beaumont. After three major operations, nine months, a multitude of complications and six returns to hospital, Dad was really struggling to get better. But, after three weeks in the Beaumont, he has definitely done just that. On August 2nd I took Dad in as a fragile, confused and struggling 85 year old (who looked and felt every year of his age). We were not sure where/how he was going to end up. On August 20th, I am now picking him up as a stronger, lucid and positive 85 year old (who looks 10 years younger). We are now ready for a return to his own flat... and then, back to 'normal life'. I cannot thank you enough. The medical care, the attentive staff, the quality of food, the daily entertainment, the cleanliness and the beautiful setting are first class. You have become a big part of mine and Dad's life in the past three weeks and we are going to miss you all. We will never, ever forget you. You have made Dad feel content, at ease, relaxed and safe. Thank you."

"The facilities and setting are excellent but I felt the residents were kept in their rooms all day apart from lunch time. I provided my husbands "stay dry pants" for the weekday/night and he used hardly any at all. More frequent changes required."

"I arrived at short notice via NHS Hospital. I was very tired and traumatised over the next few days. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I have settled down. Since I have Parkinson's disease the timing of daily routine is highly important. I am one of 55 residents here and sometimes the schedule falls apart. The staff are well trained and this training shines through in their contact with residents. This is absolutely a great home. Long may it prosper!"

"I came to Reigate Beaumont for a period of rest and quietness following a prolonged stay in three consecutive hospitals since April 2017, following a car accident which resulted in a 'C2 Fracture' in my neck and all over bruises to the rest of my body. My neck has been encased in a collar/brace since, for 24 hours a day. As you can see from the completion of my ratings, my stay at Reigate Beaumont has been a great success."

"The resident has only been with you for 3 weeks but has settled in very well, all the staff are kind and considerate and attentive to his needs. He particularly enjoys the meals and the activities. The home is lovely, well looked after and well maintained. It is clear that the manager, the nurses, carers, hospital team and domestic team all work well together. I think that all at Beaumont should be proud by what they have achieved. Well done."

"Friendly staff who are courteous and pleasant. Food is excellent as are drinks. Activities offered are varied, interesting and meet the needs of the residents well. Only concern is that the buzzer is not always answered quickly. I fully understand staff are busy but my relative can become over anxious and frightened when no one comes. Reassurance."

"Having had a fall at my home and been taken to A&E my family thought a recovery period would be good. The Beaumont is near my house and proved ideal - very welcoming - staff and residents; a comfortable house with no need to join in activities if now wanting to, also choice of eating places. The team of carers and nurses are a wonderfully international group of people who and seem to get on well together. I like to think of them as "United Nationals" demonstrating how the world should be behaving! They are hard working, kind and caring and I am grateful to them."

"When I started having falls my family were anxious and wanted me to have care, I agreed to staying in a small care home at the end of my road. It was not altogether satisfactory as they had poor facilities for toilet arrangements, I had six years there but needed more care with the toilet etc. so I decided to move. The sensible thing was to move to another home, much larger, and my daughter had one above Reigate Beaumont. I have been here for 6 months now and I am amazed by the help given to me by all."

"The home is beautifully decorated with attention to detail, it is as if you're in your own home. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional - always a smile and very helpful. One can praise all you like but the proof is looking at the other residents. They look cared for, happy, safe and are interacting with others when they meet up in the various lounges. Activities are put on with themes that are familiar, songs, recitals that bring comfort and re-assurance with the familiarity. I enjoyed them, but was delighted to see how much my mother did. And when the weather does shine a wheelchair makes the beautiful gardens accessible."
