Activities at Sherwood Court Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Residents Christmas party

Its Christmas party day at Sherwood Court and what a day we have had so far we’ve had such fun. Entertainment from Geno our singer, he knows how to get the room on their feet and party. Singing all the classics old and new and taking requests, getting the residents up for a dance. We had a visit from Santa and his reindeer, who rode around the room and danced with all the residents, families and loved ones had so much fun. The staff got involved and everyone has had a ball. We finished off the day with a Christmas party and a buffet, prepared by our super kitchen staff, with a nice drink to end the day.

What  lovely evening we’ve  been having at Sherwood court care home. A huge thank you to the lost and found choir, as well as the ST Anthony’s singers that have performed at the home for a number of years and are a favourite of all the residents. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful carols service singing along with family and friends.

We also had the pleaser of the Grace Notes for a Carol performance the same week. The home has been full of music and festivities, families joined in with the fun.
