Rothsay Grange Care Home
I've had the pleasure of getting to know the team through a local networking group and have since attended a number of events at the home in my role as a funeral celebrant. Every visit has been a positive experience.
The staff are always incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The home itself is beautifully presented, with tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean communal areas.
I've attended networking breakfasts, an International Women's Day event and an excellent dementia awareness course, all of which were thoughtfully organised and genuinely valuable. What has particularly impressed me is the home's commitment to supporting the wider community. They regularly host activities, information sessions and wellbeing events, including chair yoga and support for carers, welcoming people even if they don't have a loved one living at the home.
It's clear there is a real focus on connection, compassion and community. A wonderful local care home that goes above and beyond, both for its residents and for the people around it. Should the need ever arise for a family member of my own, they'd be the first care home I'd reach out to.

Farley Gardens Care Home
Our family will always be grateful for the care and compassion shown to our mum during her time at Barchester-Farley Gardens. Living with Parkinson's and dementia brought challenges, but the staff always treated her with incredible kindness, dignity, patience, and respect.
They took the time to understand her individual needs, ensuring she was comfortable, safe, and cared for with genuine warmth daily. It was such a comfort to know she was in such capable and caring hands, giving our family peace of mind.
A very special thank you goes to her wonderful key worker, our mum developed a special bond with her. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine care meant so much to our mum and we will never forget her kindness.
We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all staff who cared for our mum. Each of you made such a positive difference with your professionalism, warmth, patience, and the genuine affection you showed our mum. The entire team down to the chef are all truly amazing, and your hard work and kindness will always be remembered.
Thank you to everyone at the care home for treating our mum with such love and respect. We would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone looking for outstanding care for a loved one.

Park View Care Home
I have visited Park View Care Home on several occasions, as the mother of our family friends is a resident there, and I have been genuinely impressed every time.
The staff and management are outstanding—kind, caring, professional, and always willing to help. It is clear that the residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine affection. They are exceptionally well looked after, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes the home feel like a real community.
There are so many activities to keep residents engaged and happy, and I especially loved that they even have little pets, which bring so much joy and comfort. The home is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and has a lovely garden full of flowers where residents can relax and enjoy the outdoors. The food also looked and smelled delicious, with residents enjoying a good variety of meals.
I would highly recommend Park View Care Home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and friendly place for a loved one. Knowing your family member is surrounded by such dedicated staff and receiving such excellent care brings real peace of mind. It is a wonderful care home where people are truly valued and looked after with kindness and respect.
