Activities at Cherry Trees Care Home
Our activities team are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual social events for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest, including the local theatre, as well as visits from Pat dogs, musicians and entertainers. We also host bingo, quiz and knitter natter afternoons that we encourage relatives and the local community to attend. Our Gentleman's Club is also open to non-residents every Thursday afternoon from 2:30pm, join us for a tipple of your choice, we have plenty of snacks and chats. For the ladies, our beauty salon provides; hairdressing and nail pampering, you too can enjoy a drink and some well-deserved 'me' time. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Cherry Trees is fun and active.

Life at Cherry Trees Care Home
Out & About
Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside!
It was a bit far for us to go to the beach, so we did the next best thing and went on a minibus trip to the valley in Evesham, where there is a beach with lots of sand, old fashioned rides, balloons and much more.
Residents enjoyed seeing the children play and Michael said it brought back memories of when he took his children on holiday.
We enjoyed a picnic and later went for a cup of tea in one of the shops before returning back home.
Country Comes to Cherry Trees
We had a great afternoon listening to Andy Yapp, a visiting country singer. Lots of residents and family members joined in with the singing and we finished off the afternoon with tea and cake.
Sparks are Flying at Cherry Trees
Residents enjoyed a visit from Tony Sparks recently; they sang along to some good ol' tunes and, afterwards, Tony spent time with residents, talking about all sorts.
Straight to Stratford
We took some residents to Stratford-upon-Avon for a walk around the shops and a chat with people along the way.
After a busy afternoon shopping, we all went and sat down to enjoy a lovely cake and a cup of coffee, which was well-deserved.
Live Entertainment
Debbie miles visited Cherry Trees to entertain residents with a morning of great songs. The atmosphere was brilliant; both residents and staff enjoyed a singalong and some dancing.
Trip to the Valley
We took some residents on a trip to the valley to visit the new craft shop for supplies. After a long and busy afternoon, we all enjoyed a chat and a cuppa in the café.
