Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Claremont Parkway Care Home

Visiting the alpacas

Residents from Claremont Parkway had a lovely visit to our other home in Kettering (Elm Bank) to see the visiting alpacas. They were soft, cute and friendly and we were able to stroke and feed them.

Singing along with Lesley Ann

Residents at Claremont Parkway love their regular visit from Lesley Ann and Katie Rose and today was no exception, singing along with the popular duo and sometimes dancing too.

Cards from Her Majesty

Catherine and Peter were astonished to receive a card each from the Queen thanking them for their handmade Jubilee cards.

Fresh from the chippy

Fish, chips and curry sauce, from a real local chippy. Yummy! Peter is very happy.

Meeting the parrots

We enjoyed a lovely outing in the Claremont Parkway minibus to Seasons Garden Centre where we enjoyed sunshine, flowers, tropical fish and some noisy parrots. We ended our trip with tea and cake, of course!

New guinea pigs to cuddle

Margaret visited Claremont Parkway again today and brought her new guinea pigs to meet residents for the first time. Receptionist Kathy and General Manager Natalie couldn't resist holding them, too.
