Jade Shea
Hi, my name is Jade, and I am General Manager here. Welcome to our website!
Prior to starting in this position as a General Manager at Hugh Myddelton, I have 17 years’ experience in a care setting. I have been a Care Home Manager for 12 years specialising in nursing care, living with dementia and elderly frail residents. I have a nursing background and have completed my Leadership and management in health and social care. Caring is innate to me and my work ethos is to deliver a high quality of care service and to be always be mindful of my workforce to be working as a team in order to progress.
Joining the Team at Hugh Myddelton as a General Manager, I felt Welcome by everyone.
Hugh Myddelton has a warmth and good atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the team and the residents. I’m looking forward in managing this home and continuing to provide high quality of care and be part of the community.
Cynthia Godwin
My name is Cynthia and I joined Barchester in 2012 as a HCA and in 2019 I became a Nurse. I am a dedicated nurse who inspire others by providing first class care for residents. In 2022, I have been promoted as a Deputy Manager and my role is to make sure every resident's needs are met and our team is updated with the latest clinical developments. I love spending time with residents and it makes me happy knowing that they are all safe and comfortable.

My name is Dee and I am a Unit Lead here at Hugh Myddelton. I have been a nurse for 43 years and enjoy working in different hospitals and care homes. I joined the Hugh Myddelton team in 2020 and I always try my best as a nurse I strive to maintain a good relationship with residents, loved ones and colleagues.

Hello my name is Gunel and I joined Barchester team 2020 promoted to Activities Coordinator in November 2022
I love spending time with the residents and getting to know them on personal level, this helps me to support residents to participate and enjoy all the activities in the home. I am really enjoying my role as an Activities Co-Ordinator at Hugh Myddelton House and look forward to meeting you soon.

Hello, my name is Christopher and I have worked in the kitchen as Chef since 2013. I love to cook and told I have a real talent in cake baking! I'm calm under pressure and enjoy the comradery of the kitchen.

Hello, my name is Miguel Almeida and I have recently joined the team at Hugh Myddelton as head of maintenance. Previously I worked for another care provider so very experienced with keeping everything running smoothly for the residents and staff - I have just decorated our new relative indoor visiting room which will be warm and welcoming for visitors
