Iverley View Care Home in Stourbridge will be opening in spring 2025 and will provide excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment, as well as caring for those living with dementia. Alongside long-term care, we will also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team will be ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.
The home will feature a wide range of facilities including a café serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes, and a collection of dining rooms, a cinema to watch the classics and a relaxing spa bathroom located on each floor of the home. As with all Barchester homes, there will be a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish.
Dementia Care at Iverley View
For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier.
Care will be focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia will be offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood. Meals are freshly prepared on-site by trained chefs, who will offer a range of nutritious and tasty food, catering for special dietary requirements when needed.
