Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

We loved celebrating National Fish and Chip Day
It was with great pleasure Marriott House and Lodge celebrated National Fish and Chip Day on 3rd June this year. Our kitchen team created the most amazing fish and chips lunch for our staff and residents to celebrate the day
Another Lady who is 101year's young
Our second 101st celebration this week was Gundel Kirrage who was 101 years young. Gundel had such a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed her birthday cake and visitors.
It's not every day your 101 years young
Here at Marriott House and Lodge this week two of our wonderful residents celebrated their 101'st birthday. Our first celebration was with Mary Tyler who loved her day and let us share her cake . Happy Birthday Mary.
Cocktail Day at Marriott House and Lodge
Our residents at Marriott House and Lodge just love a cocktail and social afternoon. Our lifestyle team enjoyed taking our residents orders for cocktails, mixing up the drinks and joining in the fun.
National Carer's week
This year, possibly more than any other year Barchester Healthcare wanted to recognise our carers within Marriott House and our fabulous community. Our team at Marriott House and Lodge are fantastic.
Our Beautiful Gardens
Its May and already our gardens are looking so inviting. Our staff, residents and wildlife get so much enjoyment out of the gardens her at Marriott House and Lodge its such a pleasure to see.
