Activities at Melbourn Springs Care Home
Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is a major focus of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat will always be welcomed.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Christmas 2021
What an amazing Christmas week we’ve had here at Melbourn Springs from preparing our home festive decorations, singing lots of carols together and enjoying enormous amounts of delicious food from our fantastic Chef team.
Residents also received their presents from Santa’s own little helper - complete in her very own Sleigh! (Thank you Rob - Head of Maintenance)
The Queen also made an appearance as did Charades with resident Betty adding, “Thank you to everyone and all the staff for making the day so incredibly special. I have enjoyed this Christmas tremendously!”
Melbourn Community Support for Dementia Festive Goodybags
Another special moment for our home this Christmas as we were blessed to produce 40 Festive Treat Bags - consisting of delicious homemade Sausage Rolls, Shortbread for the Melbourn Community Support for Dementia Group. Head Chef Trevor and 2nd Chef Phil certainly did not disappoint and a big thank you to the amazing Stephanie, Davina and their team for delivering the goody bags this Christmas on behalf of all the team here are Melbourn Springs!

And they're off! Just some of our Christmas Child Shoeboxes now en route to help those less fortunate children around the world. Christmas Church Service
Last week we held our very own Christmas Church Service at Melbourn Springs which was very much appreciated by our residents and staff here at the home.
