Activities at Park View Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Sensory Garden Open Day
On Sunday 22nd May, Park View Care Home in Dagenham, Morland Road, celebrated and opened up their new Dementia Sensory Garden for their residents. During a meeting with the Residents who had expressed that they would like a Sensory Garden within the grounds. As part of Park View’s Dementia care, residents, staff and volunteers have been working on creating a Sensory Garden for their residents. This project was managed by our Head House Keeper, Elzbieta Stach. Elzbieta and her team spent many hours over the past few months planning and building this garden, as well as donating. The aim of the Sensory Garden is for Park View’s residents to have a chance to connect with nature, encourage their awareness of their surroundings and to tap into principles of mindfulness. Also giving residents a chance to maintain life skills, develop their independence and to enjoy their stay at Park View.
Trip to London
Residents and staff had a walk around central London recently. They had lunch at Chinatown and visited famous monuments. Everyone had a fantastic time.
