Activites at Park View Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Celebrating life at Park View Care Home
Trip to the park!
Theodore went to the park today to feed the ducks and do a run around the park.
He absolutely loved his day out and enjoyed getting the bus to Romford and can't wait to go again!
VE Day celebrations
Park View recently celebrated VE day. We had an amazing singer singing old war songs and encouraging residents and staff to sing along and dance.
The residents dressed up in pinnies and hair pinned up with rags on. Bunting was around the home and residents had hats and waving flags. And after, we finished off with a lovely afternoon tea and cakes.
Feeling nostalgic
A lovely lady named Maggie gave us some original newspapers from 1941-1945.
We all had a wonderful time reminiscing whilst looking through the newspaper. What a wonderful morning and we plan to frame them for the home.
Trip to the skating park
James expressed how he loved ice-skating and would love to go. Jason, our head of maintenance, was able to make this happen.
Jason and James went to Lee Valley skating park. James was thrilled that he was able to get on the ice rink again.
Easter Sunday at Park View
On Easter Sunday at Parkview, we were invited to an Easter breakfast celebration at the Thurrock Hotel.
We had a delicious fry-up and an Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny also came to visit!
Easter Sunday Pudding Club
Today our cook, Georgia, and the other staff made some delicious Easter eggs served with a nice tea or coffee.
Renata, the general manager, did an Easter quiz and Raffell which was great fun residents and family joined in.
Park View Spanish Lesson
Today we had a Spanish lesson at Parkview which was brilliant fun. We laughed from start to finish. One of our residents lived in Spain and had a blast remanding and helped teach
The lesson.
We smelt all kinds of herbs and made our names from play dough. We can't wait for the next lesson!
Dino Hertfordshire Zoo
James really wanted to go to the zoo, so Jason, our maintenance manager, fulfilled his wish.
James had the best time and is looking forward to going back soon.
James' favourite time was seeing the lions.
Pet Therapy
Today we had pet therapy in the home. In true springtime spirit, we had chicks come to visit us for the afternoon.
Pet therapy visits every month with different animals each time!
Our residents look forward to seeing who we're going to meet next time!
