Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, name is Ashley and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Paternoster House.
My aim is to ensure every resident is as happy and active as possible. We host a wide variety of activities and live entertainment including singers and bands, animal and music therapies, art sessions, gardening and outings to the local community.
I love getting to know new residents and their families and helping them to settle into life at Paternoster House.

turning up the Love
Wreath and love heart making, in the lead up to Valentines day residents sure have been getting creative making these beautiful wreaths and wool love hearts during an arts and crafts session.
We also had a lovely chat about how we met our wifes/husbands and how we spent Valentines day.
Creative Mojo Valentines arts and crafts
Thank you to Creative Mojo Hertford & Stevenage for our arts and crafts session which had residents create a lovely display in the lead up to valentines day.
Performing Pets come to visit
Performing Pets have done it again
Today resident's and staff enjoyed a morning full of cuddles with these two beautiful French Bulldog puppies.
These two puppies brought so much joy and laughter to us all and we cannot wait to see who visits us next time.
Getting ready for Chinese new year
Today resident's created Chinese dragons in the preparation of Chinese New Year using a range of textures.
Creating a Masterpiece
Today resident's enjoyed creating a beautiful masterpiece in recognition of international flower day. Residents used different colours and glitter to make this peacock which will be displayed in our home.
Music for health with Anastasia
Residents enjoyed a range of gentle exercises, and used a range of instruments to play along to music. Later in the session residents had their general knowledge tested with a range of pop quiz questions.

Join us for a relaxed breakfast Third Thursday of each month from 8.00–9.30am with the opportunity to network with local professionals and the Paternoster House team.
