Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Rock & Roll Afternoon
Today we have had the brilliantly talented Chris Wilson Music leading us in a rock and roll music session.
Chris had residents shouting out requests, dancing and singing along to his energetic performance.
Live music performances are always popular at Ritson Lodge and Chris is one of our favourites!
St Patrick's Day
St Patrick's Day at Ritson Lodge = Irish stew with Irish soda bread for lunch, Guinness, Irish biscuits, Guinness cake, Baileys Irish Cream, live Irish music, Irish whiskey and green hats!
Valentines's Day Fun
We had a great Valentine's Day celebration at Ritson Lodge.
Delicious food including sweet and chocolately treats, live entertainment, karaoke, Prosecco, roses and lots of fun with our friends.

Birthday celebrations again, this time it is Joyce who has turned... 20... this week.

Chinese New Year
Welcome to the Year Of The Dragon!
We celebrated Chinese New Year the same way celebrate almost everything - using it as an excuse for great food, original activities and games, a chance to learn something new and having fun with friends.
Afternoon Tea Party
The history of the Afternoon Tea is as fascinating as it is delicious! We enjoyed a lesson in the history of the origins of the Afternoon Tea party almost as much as we enjoyed the food itself.
Our wonderful chef and his team never disappoint as they put on delicious meal after delicious meal. Our Activities Team always make the most of every occasion with music, entertainment and fun!
