Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Toddler Group
The time has come around again for our monthly toddler group - once again the residents loved their visitors from the community. Smiles were seen all around. If you are interested in joining us for our next toddler group, please contact us!
An Afternoon with an Officer!
The local beat manager, PC Natalie Simmons came in to do a question and answer session for the residents, relatives and friends of Ritson Lodge. We were also joined by members of the Hopton community who were interested in hearing more about local policing. This event was enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to PC Natalie Simmons for coming and speaking to us.
Gardening Club!
Our lovely gardening club have been very busy planting and watering to keep the homes gardens looking lovely!
Fruit Tasting in the Sunshine
We enjoyed some sunshine out on the upstairs balcony while tasting lots of different types of fruits. The fruits were very refreshing!
Monthly Toddler Group
Its time again for our monthly visit from a local toddler group! Residents enjoyed joining the children by playing with different toys and a colourful parachute! If you are interested in bringing your toddler along to one of our upcoming dates, please contact Ritson Lodge for more information.
Helper Heroes at Ritson
At Ritson Lodge we encourage independence for those living with us - one of the ways that residents like to get involved in the running of the home is by helping with daily tasks. Here are some photos of one of our lovely residents helping to deliver the morning newspapers!
