Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Carers Week
Carers Week was a huge success here at Ritson Lodge. Staff and residents enjoyed some pizza and chips together and 105-year-old, Grace, showed staff how to do karaoke properly. Staff received delicious sweet cones and a Cadbury chocolate hamper as a way of recognising all their hard work.
Knit & Natter Club
The Knit & Natter Club has been a very popular club over the last few weeks. It has been getting bigger every week, with over 20 residents, staff members and loved ones joining us now.
5th Anniversary Celebrations
Our anniversary party was beach-themed. We had the Fritton Owl Sanctuary join us and there was homemade cake for everyone to enjoy. We also had craft stalls, face painters and were joined by a singer in the afternoon, with tea and cake to finish off a fantastic day.
Royal Wedding Day
Residents and staff, along with family members, enjoyed a street party in honour of the royal wedding. There were lots of decorations, which were mostly made by members of our fantastic arts & crafts club, and our kitchen team put on a wonderful spread for the afternoon.
Getting Creative
We made wooden door plaques during our most recent arts & crafts session. They were decorated by residents themselves and many were given to loved ones as gifts.
Crafts Club
We have been very busy as we're not hosting three clubs a week here at Ritson Lodge.
