Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home
A Card from the Queen!
The residents here at Trinity Manor were absolutely delighted to receive a very special piece of mail recently...
Franked with a Buckingham Palace postal stamp on the front of the envelope, there was only one person we could think of who would send a letter in an envelope like this!
Her Majesty The Queen wrote a letter of thanks via her Lady in Waiting, acknowledging the receipt of the card we sent to her for her Platinum Jubilee, with the help of our friends at Sherborne Primary School!
The residents faces beamed with smiles as they realised who it was from and all commented on the beautiful images of Her Majesty on the enclosed card.
What a fabulous afternoon for everyone here.
A Walk in the Park
Out and about in Ninesprings Country Park recently, our residents were on the hunt for some interesting local wildlife...
As they wandered in the glorious surroundings with ponds, hills and trees our eagle-eyed residents spotted mandarin ducks, robins, water voles, moor hens and even some turtles sunbathing in the ponds (specifically, red eared sliders!).
After a fabulous walk, everyone was delighted to enough some refreshments in the Ninesprings cafe.
Happy Birthday Lovely Susan!
recently, whilst surrounded by lots of friends and residents, as well as being in the company of her lovely husband, resident Susan was spoiled on her birthday with cards, cake and gifts in celebration of being another year wiser!
There were smiles and laughter aplenty, as everyone gathered in our Cafe to wish her well and share some of Susan's delicious cake.
We hope you had a wonderful afternoon, Susan!
Happy Birthday to The Grove!
We wanted to wish all our lovely friends over at The Grove Medical Centre here in Sherborne the most wonderful 3rd birthday!
So our lovely Senior General Manager, Sohail, popped by to see Dr Berry and the team to drop in some delicious home-baked goodies for them to celebrate with!
We hope you enjoyed them...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GROVE and thank you for everything you do for us here at Trinity Manor.
Strawberries & Wool?
With Wimbledon fortnight recently, residents thoroughly enjoying the world famous tennis tournament, whilst combining it a wonderful knit & natter session in our lounge this afternoon (who says we cannot do both?!)...
Our lovely ladies, with the help of volunteers, Janet & Janice, were delighted to continue with their usual, weekly get-together, but this time with a spot of tennis on in the background, whilst they beavered away making baby blankets for the Yeovil special care baby unit.
Much to everyone's delight, they were later surprised by some Wimbledon-esque treats of strawberries & cream midway through their session too, which was very gratefully received!
HAPPY WIMBLEDON EVERYONE!
Pageant Gardens visit...
Recently some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon as they explored some of the local area with a trip down to the Pageant Gardens here in Sherborne...
Freda, Janet & Shirley along with our amazing Activities team, strolled around this beautiful little oasis down by the railway station and really enjoyed learning about some of it's history, as well as taking in some of the stunning garden sculptures and tree carvings on display there.
What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon...
