Most days, you will find our Activities Coordinators doing a range of different activities with residents, whether that be in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. It is important that our activities team are passionate about the social events that we provide, and are dedicated to delivering an activities programme that reflect the interests and capabilities of those we support, so that life at Wilsmere House is full of fun.

I joined Wilsmere House as Activity Coordinator in March 2026, supporting residents' wellbeing through meaningful activities, inclusive engagement, and person-centred programme delivery.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in cultural leadership, community engagement, event management, safeguarding, programme delivery, workshop facilitation, and creative direction. My passion lies in bringing people together through dance, music, and the performing arts while creating opportunities that encourage confidence, well-being, creativity, and cultural connection.

Celebrating World Rock and Roll Day with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll!
An unforgettable celebration of World Rock and Roll Day! We were thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Paul, whose outstanding performance as Elvis Presley brought the energy, charisma, and timeless music of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll to life.
Gardening
A lovely afternoon spent with our residents watering the plants and caring for our garden spaces.
National Nurse's Day
We proudly celebrated the incredible nurses for International Nurses Day who dedicate their lives to caring for others with compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment.
Our residents came together to create beautiful handmade cards for our dedicated nurses in celebration of Nurses Day.
Easter celebrations
We had such a lovely time celebrating Easter with our wonderful residents.
Everyone enjoyed some delicious food, lots of smiles, and a lovely cheerful atmosphere throughout the day.
Garden Centre trip
Our residents enjoyed a trip to one of the local garden centres to see a variety of plants and pets!

The birthday of the NHS
We proudly celebrated the birthday of the NHS and took the opportunity to recognise the incredible dedication, compassion, and commitment of our amazing ambulance crews. Every day, they work tirelessly on the frontline, responding to emergencies, saving lives, and providing comfort and care when people need it most. Their courage, professionalism, and selfless service make a real difference to our communities, and we are truly grateful for everything they do.
As a small token of our appreciation, our General Manager was delighted to present our local ambulance crew with a selection of goodie bags to say thank you for their outstanding work and unwavering dedication.
Garden Centre Trip
Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to a local garden centre to celebrate British Flower Week.
They had the opportunity to explore the gardens, take in the wonderful scenery, and enjoy the fresh air.
Stone art session
Our residents enjoyed a delightful day outdoors as our Activities Team hosted a relaxing and inspiring Stone Art Session.
Surrounded by sunshine and fresh air, everyone had the chance to express their creativity by turning simple stones into unique pieces of art.
Valentine's Day
We had some lovely Valentine's Day Celebrations! Wilsmere House was filled with joy, smiles, and beautiful memories as our wonderful residents, staff and families danced, sang along, and celebrated love together.

Celebrating 10 Years of Dedication & Excellence. Our Physiotherapist, Raluca, was presented with her Long Service Award for 10 years of dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Thank you Raluca!
Our Deputy Manager, Komal, recently visited St. Luke’s with a hamper to say a sincere thank you for the amazing work their team continues to do.

Our wonderful Activities Team recently took our residents on a lovely trip to the Royal Air Force Museum to celebrate International Museum Day.
Visit to Squires Garden Centre
Our lovely residents recently enjoyed a fantastic outing to Squires Garden Centre followed by a delightful shopping trip, all organised by our amazing Activities Team!
