2019 Learner of the Year
Kelly Tatton - Arbour Court
Kelly Tatton, General Manager at Arbour Court Care Home in Marple, Stockport was crowned as the national winner of the ‘Learner of the Year’ category at the 2019 Barchester Care Awards on 3rd October 2019.
After being nominated and then named one of four divisional winners throughout the business, Kelly had an interview with Director of Learning and Development at Barchester Healthcare, Gareth Williams. She then joined the other divisional winners from across the UK at a special awards ceremony in Manchester to celebrate their achievements.
On the night Kelly was announced the national winner by judge Gareth Williams, where she was presented with a trophy and a £500 gift voucher by Barchester’s CEO Dr Pete Calveley.
Thrilled to have been declared the national winner Kelly said: “I was overwhelmed to win the divisional title, so to win the National title was just incredible. I am truly honoured to win, and would like to say a special thank you to Barchester and the Arbour Court team for all of their support.”
Senior Regional Director, Beverley Davies said: “This is an amazing achievement and the whole home is so proud of Kelly. She has shown a great amount of personal growth and improvement, not to mention incredible dedication to her home.”
