Meet the Ashfields Care Home Team

My name is Nita Pulmones. I am the deputy Manager at Ashfields Care Home. I have 27 years of experience in healthcare, starting from working as a Rural Health midwife in the Philippines to being hired by Barchester Health Care in 2003. Since then, I have worked in various care homes and nursing homes in Norwich in various roles, leading to my current role.

My passion and priority is our residents' medical needs and well-being. It is an honor to ensure each individual is treated with respect and dignity and is a pleasure to work closely with wonderful staff who deliver high-quality care for our residents.

Hello, my name is Gemma, and I am the Head of Care here at Ashfields.

My passion since I was very young has always been looking after the elderly and Dementia Care.  

I really enjoy working at Ashfields and providing care and support to our residents and future residents that choose to make this their home. It is paramount to me that our residents live happy and healthy lives receiving the highest quality of care at all times.

Hello, my name is Dawn and I am the Administrator here at Ashfields Care Home.

I joined Barchester in 2012 and I am here to assist with any contractual questions that you may have and also to ensure that our residents and their families are fully supported by our home.

My name is Xen and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at Ashfields.

I have experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles. In my own time I love to go antique shopping and making crafts. 

I love being part of the Ashfields team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel its important for the residents to have the opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.

Hello, my name is David and I am the Head Chef here at Ashfields Care Home. I pride myself on preparing high quality food and seeing our residents enjoy the dishes that the team and myself create makes me very happy.

Our Hospitality team here at Ashfields are committed to providing seasonal home cooked menus offering choice, nutrition and quality - including exciting menus to specific individual dietary needs and all appetites. 

The food we produce is hugely important to our residents which is why it is absolutely imperative that we always get their feedback and continuously meet the needs and nutritional quota of every single resident who chooses to make Ashfields their home.

I joined Barchester in 2020 and nothing drives me more than ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care every day – exactly how I would look after one of my own elderly relatives.
