Activities at Chacombe Park Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Hi, my name is Morgan and I joined the Chacombe Park life enrichment team in January 2025. I love getting to know our residents, and I'm extremely passionate about their continued wellbeing and enjoy providing tailored activities that stimulate happiness, and continued fulfilment.

Prior to joining Chacombe Park, I worked as a Senior Carer, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Outside of work, I’m a wife and mother to our beautiful little girl. Originally from Birmingham our little family has now settled in Banbury.

Party at Chacombe!

Party at Chacombe!

Chacombe Park held a wonderful launch party to celebrate the start of a new era, following significant investment to the home.

Visitors were welcomed to view the home’s stylish new interior and take a tour of the it on Friday 20th May.

Champagne glasses were raised as resident, Captain Charles Vyvyan Howard, DSC, took up the honour of officially cutting the red ribbon and declaring that Chacombe Park's new refurbishment was open.

With the refurbishment now offering additional luxurious social areas, guests enjoyed traditional afternoon tea listening to Ariella Strings playing live.

The home’s General Manager was available to answer any questions guests had about finding the right home and about the services offered at Chacombe Park.

Sally Matthews, Home Services Advisor, said: “The home is looking better than ever after the recent investment and it was a pleasure to showcase the elegant new interior at the launch party. My door is always open, and anyone who couldn’t make the Open Day is very welcome to drop by for a cup of tea any other day instead.”
