Jilu Stephen
Hi, my name is Jilu, and I am the General Manager here at Edingley Lodge. Welcome to our website!
I am a nurse by profession and completed my nursing studies in India. I moved to UK in 2010. Since then, I have worked in the health and social care setting. I started my career in the UK as a health care assistant and I joined the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I have also worked as a registered nurse in a number of nursing and care homes. I have experience in supporting and assisting residents with many complex mental health needs. I am very passionate and honest towards my role.
I joined with Barchester in 2019 as a bank nurse, and worked as Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead for a year. I am now at Edingley Lodge as General Manager, responsible for running this beautiful home.
Jo Parrish
Hello, my name is Jo, I joined Edingley Lodge in March 2023. I began my career in care in 2007 in a care home as a carer which I really enjoyed making a difference to the residents that lived in care homes.
I then was given the opportunity to be enrolled in courses to complete my Level 2 & Level 3 in Health and Social care and progressing to senior care within the care setting. I then became Team Leader / Head of Care / Deputy Manager - which then gave me the opportunity to learn the management side of a care home.
I have completed my Level 5 in Health and Social care management. My role within Edingley Lodge is Deputy Manager and I’m looking forward to supporting the residents within Edingley Lodge to live a fulfilled life within the home.
I am passionate about providing a high standard of care, I enjoy working with the elderly and will always do my best to achieve what I need to achieve to ensure the residents are cared for with respect and dignity.
Kami Kaur
Hello. My name is Kami Kaur and I am the Home Services Advisor here at Edingley Lodge
My role here is to support you and your loved ones journey into care. I will be at the other end of the phone for any and all questions you have about Edingley Lodge and your stay here.
I joined Barchester in 2016 and have previously worked at our sister home, Hall Park as their Home Administrator prior to progressing my career here at the home. I look forward to meeting you when you visit the home.
My role goes beyond just showing residents and loved ones around care homes; I actively engage in networking within the community to identify valuable opportunities that can enrich the lives of our residents. Whether it's organising engaging activities, fostering partnerships with local organisations, or creating special events, my goal is to create a vibrant and supportive environment that promotes well-being and fulfilment for every resident.
Linda Ping
Linda is the Admin backbone of Edingley Lodge, She has got several years of experience in working as Admin. She joined Barchester in 2023.
She is responsible for ensuring all contracts are in place for the people we support and all the staff too. She is in charge of invoicing, payroll, purchases and takes great care of our numbers game in the home.
Linda has an open door policy and is most happy to speak with families, residents and staff that need support in the day. Linda is incredibly organised and a real team player and will always help out whenever she can.
Alannah O'Reilly
Hi I am Alannah, I joined the Edingley Lodge team in April 2024,
My role is to enrich the lives of our residents as well as providing person centred activities. Getting to know our residents,family & friends is really important to me. I am fun,bubbly,caring & thoughtful, I love to keep our residents happy & content.
Marta Fitzerman
Hi, I am Marta and I have been working at Edingley Lodge since 2015 when I joined as the 2nd chef, I was then promoted to Head chef. During the years, I have got to know our residents well, all the special meals they enjoy and helped to celebrate their special occasions like birthdays and special family days.
I have worked in a variety of places, hotels locally and in VIP private hospitality. I’m very proud to have been promoted Head Chef here at Edingley Lodge and look forward to delivering even more fantastic food with my team for the people living and visiting the home.
Garry Fensom
Garry has worked for the past 30 years plus in a maintenance role, in both private schools and care homes. Garry has always enjoyed the challenge of fixing things from a young age and loves nothing more than making something out of nothing!
‘I particularly love working in the care sector, as I love to chat with the residents and build up relationships with them all. Nothing makes me happier than when I have been able to fix something for them and am able to leave them with a smile on their face, especially when they deem something un-fixable!’
Chloe Mason
Hi my name is Chloe Mason, I am the Head of Housekeeping here at Edingley Lodge. I have many years experience in the housekeeping department and it is my passion to keep the homes cleanliness to the highest of standard. We have a beautiful home here at Edingley, that we all take great pride in. The lovely team here strive to give a real home from home feel. I look forward to meeting you on your visit.
Sarah Pitchfork
My name is Sarah, I have been working with Barchester since 2016 as Admin Assistant here at Edingley Lodge.
I love to meet and greet our residents and families when they come into our home. I supports many administrative processes in the home in addition I like to help staff at Edingley lodge.
Dorothy Fox
Introducing Edingley Lodge Resident Ambassador, Dorothy Fox.
Dot has been residing here at Edingley Lodge since 2021 and contributes a positive attitude amongst the residents.
Dot told the team...

I am very happy living here, we are a very friendly welcoming home and since I have been living here my life has turned around in a very positive way.
Teresa Jolly
Hi my name is Teresa. I have worked at Edingley Lodge for 26 years. I started working in care homes 32 years ago, working my way up to becoming a senior carer gaining my NVQ levels 2 + 3 in health and social care.
I love my job and having a good rapport with the residents and my work colleagues and working together as a team. It gives me great pleasure knowing the residents that we care for are having their needs and wishes and best interests met to the manner they so deserve.

Karen Huddart
Hello, my name is Karen, I work as a hostess at Edingley Lodge. I started working with Barchester in May 2012. I am very familiar with diets and residents’ needs, I support the kitchen in many ways. I am easy going which helps me to welcome residents and their families into our Home and make them feel comfortable, I work with a fantastic Team.

Karen Howe
Hi, my name is Karen Howe and I have been working as a care assistant for around 24 Years and for 20 of these years i have been here at Edingley lodge.
I always enjoy meeting new residents whether there in for respite or long term, I am here to help them settle into their new home. We are also very proud of our newly refurbished home.
