Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Our aim is to make sure that those we support can enjoy a happy and fulfilled stay with us.

Activity Lead
Hi my name is Cheryl and I am the Activity Lead and I have worked at Latimer Court since 2024. I am passionate about my role and I really enjoy organising the activities and most importantly seeing our residents participating and having a fabulous time. I organise outings and events which the residents enjoy best and I also involve the community to take part.
Outside work, I have a son and I enjoy family time, particularly outings! I have a keen interest in horses and I previously owned one and enjoyed show jumping, nowadays I prefer watching and keeping my feet firmly on the ground!.

Entertainment throughout Christmas
Debbie Miles, Ruby Ann, the Church Choirs and primary school children’s choir all came to deliver performances throughout the month of December and residents had a great time throughout, enjoying themselves with laughter, dancing and social enjoyment.
Wonderful morning at Spring Ridge Garden Centre
We all enjoyed looking at the plants and stocking up on seeds for gardening club all the shopping was finished off with a cup of coffee and a giant slice of cake.
International Nurses Day
Easter Eggs for West Mercia's Women's Aid.
WOW !!!! What an EGG-CELLENT amount of eggs we managed to get donated to our cause. We chose to get donations of Easter Eggs for West Mercia's Women's Aid. We had a designated drop off area in our Reception. We are EGG-CITED to announce that we managed to get an EGG-STRAORDINARY 90 eggs. Amber from West Mercia Women's Aid has collected the eggs to distribute them out at their workshops. We would like to say a huge thank you to every body that has donated to this cause and made it such a success. Thank you all so much
International Women's day.
Worcester cathedral
We have been to Worcester Cathedral to see the Christmas Trees that are on display for businesses and communities.
The residents had a lovely time going to the Cathedral, seeing the Christmas Trees and having refreshments in the Café. Our next visit is on the 6th January 2026.

Valentines Day Special Moments
Festive trips out
The residents that live with us got to visit the Panto to see Sleeping Beauty at the Swan Theatre in Worcester.
They were invited to Nunnery wood secondary school for a Christmas Party having food and drinks, playing bingo and doing a quiz which was really nice to be invited to and the residents had a great time.
