Activities at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Music Entertainment
Residents enjoyed vocalist singer Ricardo who returned by popular demand. Family, friends and the local ladies group from Archdale also enjoyed the performance.
National Chocolate Cake Day
Shelburne Lodge celebrated National Chocolate Cake Day. Residents enjoyed making and baking chocolate chip cookies and were delighted to share them with other residents and staff.
Open Day
Shelburne Lodge's Open Day was a great success. Residents, family members and visitors joined us for our Rock and Roll party with live entertainment from Gary Roman as Elvis Presley. American themed and homemade New York cheese cakes and American muffins went down a treat.
Winter Wonderland
The residents had a wonderful time at the air raid shelter café in high Wycombe. They were invited to come and join the winter wonderland party and enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch. Everyone said it was one of the best afternoons they had had.
Christmas Fayre
Our Christmas fayre was a great success. We had a selection of stalls which included homemade cakes made by our head housekeeper Rachel, handbags, candles, crafts and tombola.
We raised money towards Battersea dogs trust. Residents and their families had an enjoyable afternoon we had warm mulled wine and other festive treats.
Blue Bird Belle
Blue Bird Belle returned on very popular demand on the 28th November and brightened up our day with her amazing beautiful voice. She entertained us with a mixture of popular favourites from the '50s,’60s and ‘70s. All residents enjoyed the show and were singing and dancing along.
