Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Happy 90th Mary Berry!
We are huge fans of Mary Berry here at Shelburne Lodge, and we love making her delicious cake recipes in our baking sessions.
We couldn't let this momentous day go by without sending her our best wishes. Happy Birthday Mary, we think you are amazing!
Fairwell Andy!
Last week, we came together to celebrate and bid farewell to Andy after more than 20 years of dedicated service. It was a heartfelt gathering where colleagues and residents had the opportunity to express their gratitude and best wishes for his next chapter.
Our talented chef prepared a wonderful feast for everyone to enjoy, making the occasion even more special. We were also honoured to have our Regional Director join us in wishing Andy all the best in his future endeavours.
Andy, your hard work and commitment have left a lasting impact, and you will be greatly missed. Wishing you success and happiness in all that lies ahead!
Quack-tastic fun!
Last week, we had the cutest surprise when Performing Pets brought in adorable ducklings and chicks for a visit.
Our residents and staff couldn’t resist giving them plenty of cuddles! It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and fluffy little guests—we absolutely loved it!
Book Day!
Wycombe combined school popped in with children and their teachers, dressed as their favourite characters from their favourite books.
The children showed residents their books and then visited those who couldn’t attend the event in the lounge in the residents' rooms.
The residents and staff were in awe at the knowledge and the confidence of the children as they were so proud to share their excitement.
We then shared our healthy eating with a choice of fruit for their mid-morning break to say thank you for sharing with our residents.
International Pizza Day!
We had a fantastic time last week celebrating International Pizza Day with a fun-filled session of bingo and a quiz!
Our residents enjoyed delicious pizza while testing their knowledge and luck.
Laughter, great food, and friendly competition made for a perfect day!
Valentine's Day Celebrations!
Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day in our home! The home looked absolutely stunning with all the beautiful decorations. It was a day full of love, laughter, and great memories!
Spending this Valentine's Day surrounded by great friends, good vibes, and live music in the comfort of our home. That is all our residents wanted! Here's to love, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
