Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Zoe Grindley
Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.
I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.
Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.
My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs
I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Easter Celebrations
We had a great time celebrating Easter at Southgate Beaumont. We enjoyed an Easter inspired quiz, where over 70 Barchester Care Communities competed virtually. After the quiz we all enjoyed an amazing Easter lunch and of course lots of chocolate treats.
Happy Mother's Day
We had a wonderful Mothering Sunday celebration at Southgate Beaumont. The beautiful gateau made by our amazing chefs was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful afternoon. Happy Mothers Day.
Eileen's 101st Birthday Celebrations
We always enjoy a celebration at Southgate Beaumont and today was extra special as we celebrated Eileen's 101st birthday. Eileen enjoyed her special day very much and wished everyone good health with glass or two of her favourite tipple. Eileen is a super active lady and enjoys dancing, playing games and is always the life and soul of the party. Happy Birthday Eileen, you are inspiration to us all.
Our St Patrick's day Party
We celebrated all things Irish on St Patrick's Day. We decorated the home in shamrockss, enjoyed an Irish inspired menu, listened to Irish music and of course toasted the day with a lovely class of Guinness. Happy At Patrick's Day.
Snow Day
Staff and residents had lots of fun making the most of the snow!
Day of Commemoration
Southgate Beaumont marked the International Day of Commemoration by watching interviews with Holocaust survivors and had some wine, cheese and grapes.
