Barchester's high five at national care awards ceremonies

Barchester triumphed at two awards ceremonies winning three National Care Awards and two Scottish Care Awards.

The national care award winners collected their trophies presented by Roy Walker at The Caring Times Gala Awards Night at the London Hilton Metropole.

The winners were:

• Richard Sweeting, Activities Organiser at Highfield, won Care Marketeer 
• Mark Culley,Home Trainer at North Park and Hundens, won Care Training Co-ordinator
• Leah Cooke, Care Specialist, won Care Innovator

The Scottish care award winners picked up their trophies from TV presenter and singer Michelle McManus at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel.

The winners were:

• Mirela Chirila, Nurse at Alexander Court, won Nurse of the Year
• Alex Wilson, Senior Regional Operations Director, won the Lifetime Achievement Award
