Care stars shine at Barchester Care Awards

This year’s national winners of the Barchester Care Awards, an annual event celebrating staff excellence across the company, were announced at an awards luncheon held at the Midlands Hotel in Manchester on 30th September.

Everyone enjoyed a three-course lunch while the winners of the 17 categories (and two surprise categories) were read out and congratulated.

Celebrity gardener, Charlie Dimmock joined Barchester’s CEO Dr Pete Calveley on stage to host the gardening section of the awards – Barchester in Bloom. She also delivered a talk about the importance of gardens and the difference they can make to individuals living in care homes.
