Carers celebrate with a biscuit and a cuppa...in support of Carers Week
This National Carers Week, every Barchester care home and hospital in the UK received a basket of tasty biscuits for carers to enjoy together. Barchester Healthcare thinks its carers are the best in the business and the treats had been sent out to thank each and every carer for the excellent work they do.
Barchester Healthcare has nearly 9,000 carers and they all play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive the best quality care every day. They are the day-to-day face of Barchester working directly with residents and their families – offering people support and comfort as well as ensuring that the homes are fun and friendly places to live in.
Barchester Healthcare’s Director of Quality and Clinical Governance, Trish Morris-Thompson, is very proud of the carers within Barchester Healthcare. She said: “Our carers are at the heart of what we do, working tirelessly to deliver top-quality care to the people living in Barchester homes.
“To show our appreciation of the great job all of our carers do, we want to help celebrate these hard working colleagues during National Carers Week by giving everyone some treats to enjoy on their well-earned breaks.â€
