Three new barchester homes make pinders shortlist!
Three of Barchester Healthcare’s new build care homes have been selected as finalists in the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.
The esteemed awards aim to promote and recognise the very best developments in all types of care-related property. Each category has been selected to recognise the achievements of the widest range of designers, developers and operators.
Lakeside Village, in Jersey, has been selected as one of three finalists in the category of Independent Living (New Build) for care villages; Harper Fields, in Balsall Common, is through in the Large Care Homes category and Hurstwood View, in Uckfield, is a finalist in the Small Homes group category.
A judging panel will visit all three homes over the next few weeks and each finalists is awarded a cheque for £500 to a nominated charity. The winners will be announced at an awards lunch at Lords Cricket Ground on 21 March.
Kenneth McKenzie, Director of Development, said: "We are over the moon to have three homes nominated for a Pinders! This is the culmination of years of hard, collaborative work put in by a lot of skilled people and I am so proud of everyone who has helped us reach the shortlist, which is no mean feat."
