Activities at Bamfield Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Bamfield Lodge Care Home

Mulled wine & mince pies

Whats better way to start December than an afternoon of mulled wine and mince pies. Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here at Bamfield Lodge. With so much more to look forward to.

Festive Fun

Residents had a lovely afternoon getting festive. They dusted of the decorations and made the whole home feel like the start of Christmas. They even made some new ones this year too.

CQC GOOD rating awarded

We are so delighted to announce that Bamfield Lodge passed a recent Care Quality Commission inspection with an overall GOOD rating. They were praised for being a responsive, safe, effective, caring and well led service. Tom the General Manager said "We are delighted as we always strive to provide the best care. A big thank you to all my team too".

Community Messages

The lovely children at The Theatre Box have been sending our residents wonderful personalised photos, videos and messages. Our residents just love reading them and engaging with the children. We know its has to be slightly different for now but we cant wait till we can see them in person.

Zoom Exercise Class

We know just how important exercise is for the older generation. It doesn't matter how much or how little they join in. Its the taking part that counts. As we can not have our usual instructor into the home we have bought exercise to the home via Zoom. The residents loved the class and we know it will now be a firm favourite on the timetable.
