Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Tina Stovey
I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
October Flowers
The nights may be drawing in but flowers in the home help make everything warm & cosy. Alex Perkins, Activities Coordinator, enjoyed spending time with residents and arranging some flowers for Grandparents Day.
Daniel's Exercises
We’ve all had fun this week working up a sweat in Daniel's exercise class! Daniel is a trained physiotherapist and comes to Bushey House every Wednesday and Friday morning to do group sessions. We’ve all been feeling fit and fantastic because of him!
Our New Furry Friend
Meet the handsome hound, Cooper, who’s been coming to visit us all every other Tuesday morning! We’ve all been loving having a kiss and a cuddle with him and we think Cooper’s been loving it too! Cooper's a Miniature Sheltie and loves being pampered, so if you’re a doggy person, make sure you’re around on Tuesday mornings for a hug!
Decorating Jar
We decorated some jars with vintage lace and flowers and gave them out to some of the residents in the home who’ve been poorly or those who are less mobile.
Feeling Floral
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been doing lots of flower arranging to bring some of the summer inside. We’ve made centre pieces for the tables in the dining room and for our reception area.
July Open Day
We had a lovely open day! We played an array of outside games and had an ice cream station with a selection on sprinkles & sauces. Thanks to everyone who came to make the day a huge success.
