Meet the Cadbury Hall Care Home Team

Our wonderful team will be ready to welcome residents later this year and will include: carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. This carefully selected team will be in place to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet the General Manager, who can tell you more about what life will be like at Cadbury Hall:

Audrene Abrigo

General Manager

Hi. My name is Audrene, and I am the General Manager here at Cadbury Hall. Welcome to our website.

I’m originally from Guyana, South America and I came over to the UK at the tender age of 13. My experience of working in healthcare and with the elderly, began when I was 16 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home. I grew up watching my mother be a nurse to many - healing, treating and supporting her patients with their health and well-being, and it is from here that my passion grew from childhood for the nursing profession.

I am a Registered Nurse and I have worked in various roles including District Nursing, Deputy Manager, Regional Clinical Development Nurse and now I’m delighted to have been promoted to be the General Manager of Cadbury Hall. I have various qualifications, however the one I’ve recently completed is Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. This qualification has helped me to further understand myself as a leader and manager.

I have a caring and compassionate nature for elderly care, and I aim to maintain and promote good health and well-being for all Cadbury Hall residents. I look forward to bringing all the experiences and knowledge that I have gained over the years to support the residents in our care; with the main aim of providing a positive life experience. It is a passion of mine to serve this age group and I look forward to managing and leading the brilliant team at Cadbury Hall.

Please feel free to pop in and have a chat, my door is always open. Hope to see you soon.

I’m Darius Ivana, the Deputy General Manager at Cadbury Hall, having joined the team in November 2024. With over five years of experience in the care sector, I’ve developed a strong passion for supporting elderly people and ensuring that their needs are met with the utmost compassion and professionalism. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of care settings, always with a focus on delivering person-centred care and promoting the well-being of those I support.

At Cadbury Hall, one of my core responsibilities is to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the facility, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of care and a positive environment for both residents and staff. I’m committed to making sure that our residents’ needs are met on a daily basis, providing them with the care, dignity, and respect they deserve.

In addition to resident care, I place great importance on the well-being and support of our staff. I believe a happy and well-supported team is key to delivering outstanding care. I work closely with staff to ensure they have the resources, training, and support they need to excel in their roles, and I encourage a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Together, we aim to provide exceptional care and create a positive, supportive atmosphere for everyone at Cadbury Hall.

I’m also in the process of completing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, which will further enhance my ability to lead with confidence and insight. As I continue to grow in my role, I’m excited to work alongside such a dedicated team, continually striving to improve the lives of our residents and contribute to the ongoing success of Cadbury Hall.
