Activities at Caldy Manor Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work together to provide daily activities suited to the tastes of residents. We encourage those we support to continue with any hobbies whilst they stay at home. We also hold group activities, such as exercise to music, sing-alongs, craft sessions and visits to local places of interest. There are also evening events, including cheese & wine evenings and race nights. We keep families up-to-date through our newsletter and notices that can be found across the home. Family and friends are always welcome to join in!

Hi my name is Steph and I am Lead Activities here at Caldy Manor. As an Activities Coordinator I focus on encouraging our residents to take part in outdoor trips on the mini bus, delivering varied exercise classes and assisting residents with their chosen activities as part of our homes life enrichment plan. It is important that we continue to ensure our residents are connected to their local community.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Caldy Manor Care Home
Summer Fête
Residents, loved ones and staff members enjoyed a day of fun at our Summer Fête this year.
Beside the Seaside
Memory Lane residents enjoyed ice creams at the seaside and a picnic lunch in the sunshine.
Flower Crown Competition
Residents made their flower crowns during an arts & crafts session and then wore them to celebrate our flower festival. Dorothy won the competition and received chocolates as a prize.
Flower Arranging
Residents took part in a flower arranging class, where they showed off their creative talents and produced beautiful displays.
Live Entertainment
Hugh Dent recently visited Caldy Manor to entertain residents. We enjoyed an afternoon of singing followed by afternoon tea.
Coffee Morning
Caldy Manor held a coffee morning to raise awareness for Dementia UK and their work. We welcomed visitors, families and our local neighbours who all enjoyed our homemade cakes and scones.
