"I can not rate Cossins House Care Home highly enough. The staff are excellent. Not only are they wonderful at their job they are so caring and have such a lovely way with the residents. It is like a big lovely family at Cossins. This is like no other care home I’ve ever experienced and would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you to all the staff for providing such a caring and loving environment."

"As soon as we walked through the door we knew that this was the place for dad. Critically the staff were super friendly and caring. The room was spacious and light. The atmosphere was nice. We were not disappointed. As dad subsequently made a speedy recovery and was able to come home he showed no hurry to leave Cossins."

"Each time I visit I find my friend happy, clean, content. The carers are welcoming and attentive and do all they can to make sure the residents are stimulated and interested. We are all friends and find the home a real home from home."

"My dad was a resident at Cossins for over 10 years. The standard of care was always excellent, particularly during his last few months. The love and support given to him and his family was outstanding and he was able to stay 'at home' to die peacefully."

"After visiting my grandmother while on leave I am yet again taken aback how amazing the staff are at Cossins House. My grandmother is very comfortable and cared for beyond my wishes. We fed her lunch which was not only well-balanced but delicious by the looks of her empty plate yet again. Thank you from all of our family yet again for the ultimate top-class care, love and kindness shown to my grandmother. Many thanks."

"I cannot praise the staff of Cossins House Care Home enough. They are very attentive and caring in every way. Our sister was at home here since the first day she arrived. During lockdown, the staff kept us informed how sister was doing and we were able to "see her" on WhatsApp video. I would recommend this home. With gratitude for the care and attention given to her personal needs. Thank you."

"My gran couldn’t be happier than she is at Cossins House. Staff are polite and caring and have been keeping in contact with us during COVID. I am sent a lovely newsletter every month to show the wonderful activities taking place. The grounds are super and very well kept. "The staff here continue to take such good care of my wife even as the help she needs increases. She enjoyed her trip out to a local garden centre recently. Yesterday she was sitting outside in the sun with others when I visited with my son. When I told them that it was his birthday, all the staff came out to sing happy birthday to him. This is how memories are made. Thank you."

"I was so anxious about my mum moving to a care home but Cossins House is amazing. All the staff are genuinely caring and attentive and the activities coordinator is absolutely wonderful in keeping spirits up in an inclusive and genuinely fun way. Everyone participates and the activities are such great fun - there is a lot of humour and sometimes silliness which gives everyone a giggle. This is so unlike any care home I have visited in the past. My sincere thanks to all the staff and residents for making it such a cheerful place."

"I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive here at Cossins in August 2023 to a very warm welcome from the staff. Since then, I have been treated very well in all manner of ways, from being washed and dressed in the morning, to throughout the day when I have been given cups of tea often. The Activity Coordinator provides us with a number of activities to help our well-being, mental and physical."

"Cossins House is an excellent care home. My 90-year-old mum stayed for respite after a hospital visit and was treated with great love and kindness. The staff treated her with dignity at all times, the facilities were superb and the food was wholesome and nutritious. Mum was hesitant about staying in a care home, but they built up her strength and confidence, so that she was able to return home easier, certainly made a difficult time for our family much easier to cope with."

"With only the eyes of a visitor to the home I can only imagine that the residents are the luckiest people to be able to spend their days at Cossins. The atmosphere is so friendly and the attitude of all the staff is one of cheerful, dedicated care. The house is immaculately clean and the grounds are a joy to walk in. "I was very comfortable and well looked after at Cossins House. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and accommodating at all times. My room was spacious and clean, the garden space was welcoming and enjoyable to be in. The food was tasty and meals were always on time and well cooked. Outings were well planned and appreciated. "My mum had vowed to stay in her own home.. but due to failing health has now moved permanently into Cossins House. Despite her reservations, she has found that life there is so much better than it had become for her at home. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, everyone working at the home in any capacity knew her and called her by her name as soon as she moved in, and this approach has helped to dispel her confusion at living in a different place. The caring staff, most of whom have worked there for several years, are unfailingly cheerful and encouraging even when her mood is not so sunny. The food is tasty and well presented and takes my mum's tastes into account. The surroundings including a wonderful garden are well-kept and comfortable and there are plenty of activities to get her involved. We could not ask for a better place for her to live now."
