Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:
Rose Punzal
Hi, my name is Rose, and I am the General Manager here at Cossins House. Welcome to our website!
Healthcare has always been the driving force of my career, ever since I trained as Registered Pharmacist in Philippines for 10 years.
I moved to the UK in 2003, joining Cossins House as a Care Assistant, working my way up eventually to Deputy Manager and now General Manager.
As a General Manager, I am responsible for managing all aspects of the home’s daily operation, ensuring that the highest possible standard of care is provided and in accordance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Barchester policies.
As a leader, I will demonstrate an open and transparent culture, whereby my staff feel valued and developed.
As a team, we have achieved the prestigious Gold Standard Framework (GSF) Award-Platinum Status and a CQC 'Outstanding' in Care Domain.
As a person, I am kind, calm and patient. I love to spend time video calling and chatting with my family back home. I am a mother of one child and happily married.
Marita Segui
I started my career in care industry as Senior Care Assistant way back in 2006 in Nottingham, before moving to Surrey in 2010. I find my role really fulfilling!
Catherine Edwards
Catherine has been at Cossins House for 7 years and is responsible for ensuring the administration of the home runs smoothly and effectively. This includes both our management accounts and payroll.
Lisa Unsworth
I have been working in care since the age of 16, when leaving school. Over the years, I have been a senior care assistant, administrator, home trainer and activities coordinator. I really enjoy working with the elderly residents.
Raji Dhuna
I started my career as a chef in 2008 and joined Cossins House in 2019. I am passionate about working with fresh produce, creating well-balanced, seasonal menus focused on residents' choices and the nutritional value of the dishes. I enjoy having a chat with the residents and their visitors to get to know more about their likes and dislikes. I cook with dedication to ensure the residents enjoy their meals.
Manny Muthy
Manny is responsible for ensuring our residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times.
Josie Mina
I'm responsible for the home's cleanliness and I make sure everything is tidy and in order. I also make sure the home smells inviting. See you all soon!
Senior Carers
We as a Senior Carers put our residents' care and well-being at the heart of everything we do. We take pride ourselves on the warmth and support we provide to our residents and families. We promote independence, dignity and quality of life at all times in a person-centred caring and supportive environment here at Cossins.
Care Assistants
A composition of individual talents, empathy, compassion, faith and versatility from different backgrounds. The team makes sure that our residents are happy, content and safe each day.
Roza Muthy
Roza Muthy is responsible for all our catering areas, ensuring that everything is well-maintained, hygienic, tidy and safe. She also assists our Head Chef in the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals for our residents.
Alex Espiritu
Alex demonstrates a true passion for gardening by cultivating a welcoming atmosphere in our gardens with colourful flowers and vibrant, wide-open spaces that benefit our residents and wildlife alike.
Rosie and Cassie
Rosie and Cassie from Pet therapy visit Cossins House every week to see our residents. Our residents love to see Cassie and spend time with her. Cassie gives us comfort and cuddles.
