"I came here in an emergency when part of my home was flooded due to a burst water pipe, I have been welcomed very warmly by all of the staff and residents also. I have every help that I need but enough freedom and facilities that I feel I am staying in a very special hotel. I will always be grateful for the comfort and friendliness that I have had in this difficult time, especially as I was living on my own having been widowed earlier this year."

"My mother stayed here for nine months. The home is cozy, clean and the staff were very caring. I always felt she was in good hands. My mother, at first accepting of needing full-time care, became increasingly difficult. The staff tried hard to make this arrangement work but eventually had to refer her to a more secure facility. Cubbington's facilities are excellent - the furnishings, the dining room and food and the beautiful garden so well maintained. My mother enjoyed many hours sitting on the garden seats and noticing the birds and flowers. She often did not want to eat in the dining room and they always accommodated her by bringing food to her room as well as making something that wasn't officially on the menu. Visitors were always welcomed. Living overseas, communication by email was critical for me and for the most part, Cubbington was good about keeping me informed. I would recommend Cubbington to anyone looking for a home where walled-in facilities are not required."

"All staff including management were not only great looking after my Gran but also the family during her stay. They always went above and beyond for us when we would visit. My Gran was always treated with respect and dignity. The rooms were beautiful with everything you could ever need. It does not feel like a care home. Definitely recommend!"

"In September my mother moved into Cubbington Mill, followed by my father in October. Management was able to organise a double room so they could both be together. Sadly my mother passed away on 14th November. During this process the family were looked after particularly well, helping to ease the pain. We were fed well and checked upon regularly. Over and beyond what we would have expected. Thank you to the Manager."

"The care my mother received throughout her stay was absolutely exceptional. Outstanding. Attention to detail was thoughtful (hair brushed, nails cut, clothing frequently washed and changed). From the Manager to the handyman/maintenance man, we were helped every step of the way. The nursing staff were caring, professional and always available. The cheerfulness and friendliness of each member of the care team shone. Even on death, the care and helpful continued. Huge thank you."

"The atmosphere is always very welcoming and friendly, and always seem to be a lot of people about, both staff and visitors. The garden is lovely, but the car park could be a little larger. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a home for a loved one."

"I spent seven days in their facility, the first time ever in such an environment. I found it excellent in every respect. In particular, I found the staff, without exception, to be efficient, friendly, and caring. There was no more involvement than necessary and when required, provided willingly. Overall this was an excellent relaxing experience."

"I am a regular visitor to the Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home in my role as the Parish Vicar. I meet with residents at least twice a month, once for a service of Holy Communion and once for a simple Bible Study that involves lots of photos of the Holy Land. In December the church holds a Carol Service in Chubbington Mill for residents and on Christmas Eve I organise carol singing around the tree. On all of my visits, I am met with happy well cared for residents who enjoy life at Chubbington Mill. Several of the residents I have been meeting for many years. The facilities are spotless and the staff are always very friendly and caring."

"It was my mum's birthday and due to COVID-19, we knew visits would be unlikely. We had a call to say we could visit through the window. On the day it was raining, the staff were wonderful allowing us to stand undercover and visit through an open door with mum 3 metres away. It was only 20 minutes but this made a huge difference being able to see mum open her presents. Mum has made great improvements and the staff are fabulous."

"I had no hesitation in choosing Cubbington Mill for my mum having been so pleased when my Dad was a resident 8 years ago. It has such a lovely atmosphere and we are always met by a friendly face when we arrive. nothing is too much trouble, particularly considering the added pressure of COVID-19. I feel that mum is treated like family, someone special, and I really look forward to my visits."

"On the whole, I would say the care I received over my two weeks stay was good. The staff were kinds, caring and considerate, and the activities arranged were enjoyable for all who wanted to take part, but towards the end of my visit, I sensed some disquiet. Staff had been working very long hours I think, not disclosing anything to me, I felt some action should be taken. On my last two days, meals were very much delayed and outside staff brought in to serve in the dining room. I felt must have been some dispute between staff and management which to me was very sad because I had really enjoyed my stay. If the difficulty could be resolved amicably I would certainly cross the "likely" box."

"Mum is well cared for and looked after at Cubbington Mill. She was struggling at home on her own, and moving to Cubbington has given her a better standard of living and dignity. She enjoys all the activities she takes part in, and especially enjoyed a recent 90th Birthday party held for her. Lots of singing! Her family are also comforted and reassured that she is being well looked after and with the best of facilities, nursing and care staff."

"My mother suffered a stroke and was transferred to Cubbington Mill for the last few weeks of her life. I had checked all the homes in the area and was most impressed by the standard of the property, which is excellent, and the way that I could relate to the staff. Her care was excellent. Despite being in end of life, every time we visited she had been dressed and had her hair combed, the room was spotless and if you check the charts and documentation absolutely everything was recorded in terms of her care. They allowed us to visit whenever we wanted. They kept us fully informed on her condition and we had plenty of notice of the end so that my father was able to be by her side. I have nothing but praise for this home. We didn't get the opportunity to use many of the facilities, but they looked excellent. I often saw staff playing and spending time with residents. Whenever we were there, we were offered food and refreshment - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent all around."

"I have worked in or been associated with care homes all my working life as a nurse and I can honestly say that Cubbington Mill Care Homee is the loveliest, most professional, well run, caring, organised, friendly, empathetic, cleanest care home I have ever been in. The entire team look after my dad so well and also looked after my mum so expertly until her death. I cannot fault a thing and highly recommend Cubbington Mill Care Home."

"Cubbington care home is a lovely establishment that really goes beyond its way to look after their residents. "My dad was admitted to Cubbington Mill at the end of March, having been assessed elsewhere following a stroke. From the second my dad arrived he has been treated so well. The staff from the lovely lady on reception to the management team have gone out of their way to help my dad and his family adjust to what is obviously traumatic for us all. I was concerned as the home where he was staying prior was not nice at all. I needn’t have been, Cubbington Mill is top notch. Compassion and empathy ouse from every member of staff who have given me a shoulder to cry on when things have got on top of me and helped us with the difficult transition to what is now our new way of life. The rooms and garden are beautiful, clean and welcoming. I have been fortunate to spend time with some of the other guests who echo what I have seen. It’s like being amongst a loving family. I would highly recommend this care home above any others that I have visited in Warwickshire."

"After a poor experience of respite for mum, we were obviously concerned about her going anywhere, but we were unable to continue caring for mum at home, so after a show around decided on Cubbington Mill. We are very pleased with all aspects of care, cleanliness, activities and catering. The staff are very good with mum and she is getting to know them and becoming familiar with her new surroundings. It was initially difficult but we are coming into our 4th week and couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, Cubbington Mill."

"I visited to attend to the garden outside my deceased husband's room, which I promised to maintain after his death. I was made very welcome by all the staff who knew me and by those new to the home since my husband died. I was warmly treated and offered coffee, and was pleased to chat with the staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming."

"The staff are very caring, and there is always a friendly greeting to visitors. The activities coordinators do a fantastic job of encouraging residents to be involved physically and with their minds. Personal tastes in food are taken care of, and the menus always look delicious. The rooms and general areas are kept clean and fresh. Having nurses on site gives peace of mind that residents’ health is under constant review. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and cared for. The rooms are a reasonable size, but it would be nice if they had a little more space. Contrary to expectations, my mother is very content to be being looked after there."

"We cannot speak highly enough of Cubbington Mill and the wonderful team. My mother has been there for the last two weeks on respite care and is really happy. So much so, that we have just extended her stay by another two weeks to complete her recovery. The staff are utterly wonderful, so kind and caring, and nothing is too much trouble. The quality of food is excellent, offering a good choice of nutritious and very tasty homemade dishes - all beautifully presented. My mother is also making the most of their activities programme and is never lost for company or something to do. The whole atmosphere at the Mill is so warm and welcoming, making you feel at home the minute you walk through the door. The only minor criticism we have is her room is a little small, but even so, we all agree that Cubbington Mill is undoubtedly the best care home our family has ever used. Congratulations and a big thank you."

"My aunt moved in recently with her sister who sadly died a few days later. The care and support she is receiving is superb. "My wife is in the more advanced stages of Parkinson's disease and originally she entered Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home for two weeks of respite care. Her Parkinson's symptoms caused her period of respite to be extended and is now to become a permanent resident. I could not have wished for my wife to be in a better place. I am confident that she will be well cared for and in a very safe place where she will be well looked after by a dedicated and committed staff. Her fellow residents have already accepted her into the 'communal family'."

"Mum was at Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home for ten months. From our initial contact with the staff to organise Mum moving in until we brought her home last week, we, as a family, have been so delighted with their levels of care. Mum has been looked after so well and with kindness and patience, and she has felt safe and well taken care of. The activities the coordinator organises are brilliant, the manager is so proactive about new ideas for the residents and staff and local community and the member of staff at reception is one of a kind, what a wonderful lady she is and the happiest person I’ve ever met! The nursing team are professional but also compassionate, every single member of the Cubbington Mill team is an absolute angel, and I mean every single member of the team! If Mum ever needed care again, we would have no hesitation to take her back, every family member of a resident becomes a member of the Cubbington Mill family. We were so lucky to have found Cubbington Mill."
